Eye Savers

I was very pleased with my eye exam, the optomitrist is friendly and professional. He declined to give me my pupil to pupil measurements though which would help me purchase glasses on-line much cheaper than local eye glass places. I thought they were supposed to be ""independant"" but I guess they want to protect the local eye glass store. You can do your own P-P measurement but recommended that the optomitrist do it for you. I ordered my glasses on- line and I will see how that goes, It can save you a lot of money IF they fit and are OK for your eyes and you can adjust them yourself. Having a good fitting old pair of glasses as a reference can help a lot. An issue that I have with Eye Savers was that they had very few gold colored frames AND the cost of frames is hard to determine. There is a ""color dot"" chart for reference, each color of dot is a different price. The problem is that very few of the frames have the colored dot on them ! So it'd hard to determine the cost of the different frames! I would rate them as average. more

I would have rated them less than one star if it were possible. Avoid at all cost..Very bad customer service. I can't begin to tell you how many times I tried to get a copy of my prescription. The people running the office aspect have absolutely no concept of customer relations. I will never go there again. more

Have been going there relucantly, ordered a refill on my contacts till my next exam and got a box of defective contacts. Not sure where they were ordered from but it was a bad lot, foreign language on box all the contacts less one pair could not wear for more than one day. Called office and the person who answered listened for a few seconds and put me on hold while I was still talking thought she hung up on me. But she had put me on hold for what seemed like an eternity. Hanged up called back and was told they were going to transfer me, and was put on hold again. After afew minutes I called back and asked to speak to a supervisor and was told they didn't have one. I was told very abruptly I would have to call during the week. Very Rude insensitive staff , I will be taking my business else where. These people are unhappy and have poor people skills. PS dont expect consistency they have no idea what that means.!!!!!! If you want caring professional service dont go there, Obviously upper management does't care!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Pros: NOT MUCH IS GOOD THERE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Cons: They sell damaged goods more
