Dr. Mahootchi did my eye surgery on 10/19/2010. I went in at 7:00am, had my surgery at 8:am and left at 9: am. I just can't give him and his clinic enough praise. I was reading that night. He is a wonderful doctor. His staff is so knowledgeable and know their business. I would recommend him to anyone that needs the surgery, and I have. I had my second check up yesterday and he is so pleased with the way my surgery went. I am one of those people that there was no way I was going to let someone touch my eyes. The surgery wasn't anything like I had it in my mind. He told me exactly what was going to happen, and that is exactly what happened. I just couldn't be more excited and impressed with my surgery. I am going to have my right eye done soon. God Bless Him and his staff. When I was home and waiting on my husband to give me my eye drops, he turned the overhead light on. I looked up at the light fixture. I couldn't believe it was covered with cob webs. Neither of us had seen them before. My husband needs to get his eyes done too. I drove at night and the headlights of the cars didn't bother me at all. Now I only need reading glasses. I am going today to get them. The price of the lens I got was reasonable. I had to pay 20% of my bill before the surgery. I had a nurse that was 72 years old. She was so nice to me and told me she had had the surgery too and that I would love it later. She was right. Everyone at the clinic was so nice to me and my husband. If you need eye surgery I hope you will consider going to Dr. Mahootchi. He is excellent. He knows what he is doing and does it excellently. more

I had cataract surgery with a toric lens and I was scared but the surgery center was not scary at all and I was in and out in 90 minutes and the nurses were sweet. more

I was referred to Dr. Mahootchi by a very good friend and when I came to him, it was decided I needed cataract surgery. I was scheduled for surgery for Tuesday morning at 7:15. I arrived and was welcomed and was seated in the lobby for a few minutes. I was treated with very caring people and the surgery was nothing like I thought it would be. There was no pain or any feeling during the surgery. Dr. Mahootchi was wonderful. I am going to be seeing Dr. Mahootchi again to possibly have my left eye done. It was a pleasure to have him work on my eye. He's so gentle and understanding. He has a fantastic personality. more

I had cataract surgery and a glaucoma procedure called ECP. After 50 years, I could finally go without wearing glasses for my distance vision. My eye pressures have gone down now after my glaucoma procedure. I have had a lot of other friends who have had happy results with Dr. Mahootchi. I cannot say enough good things about my experience. I live in Dade City and I was referred to Dr. Mahootchi by somebody in my park. I have been to a lot of eye doctors and I haven't found anyone as good as him. He answers my many questions and I would refer him to anybody. I had cataract surgery and the next day I feel like a different person already. more

My optician tried to refer me a few hours away to an eye doctor. But my medical doctor suggested Dr. Mahootchi who was local. I was very happy with him. My vision is better than it has ever been after my cataract surgery. The staff is friendly. more
