Cuddy's is a great taxicab service; very personable employees; know where things are, and how to get you there in the shortest way possible, or shortest time possible. I know their dispatcher can get swamped at times and it is hard to dispatch with other callers in the que, but overall their service is GREAT and recommend it because they speak the native language, and understand your needs. i called to find out about a pick-up and to get a quote. for some reason she stated that they don't go to magnolia. she was less than pleasant in telling me this. i definitely am puzzled as to why they wouldn't serve a community so close to downtown and wonder if she had her facts mixed-up, but she hung up so quickly that I couldn't ask. wouldn't call even if I lived in Auburn. Cuddy's is the best taxi service in South King and North Pierce Counties. The drivers are always professional and courteous, cabs are clean, and response is quick. Generally I can get a cab in Auburn within 20 minutes. The company has had problems in the past responding quickly to calls, but they seem to have gotten better recently. There have also been one or two instances where adriver has attempted to take a longer route, but this happens very rarely. The biggest downside to the company is that they only except cash. I think some drivers will except checks, but they don't like making a habbit of it, and credit cards are not excepted at all. If travelling from the White River Amphitheatre, it is best to call ahead, because the cabs often have a hard time getting into the area after the concerts have let out.
