Exclusive company is awesome. The staff is so knowledgable and they show true appreciation for almost any type of music. They are always willingto help and, if by surprise, they don't happen to have what you're looking for 9 times out of 10 they will order it for you or even point you towards a competitor. The prices are also fantastic... deffinately a jewel of the Milwaukee retail music scene. more

Great selection 9/25/2005

The Exclusive company is one of my favorite places to buy music. They have great deals and their prices are competitive, and often is lower, than the major chains like Best Buy and always lower than places like Sam Goody. I don't exactly like the cash/credit prices either but hey, bring your cash. They also have a decent selection of new vinyl, which I appreciate. more

Cash or credit price 9/14/2005

I have always liked this store, though I was always a bit put off b/w the cash and credit price thing. I think someone explained it once to me but I forgot.... Anyway, it seems like this would be a place to go if you were interested in buying some trendy music! I think their selection is pretty good...at least I can't remember a time when they didn't have something I wanted. I do agree that the staff is pretty knowledgeable and usually nice as well! more

The Exclusive Company is an excellent independent with competitive prices, special deals and a great selection. The employees are semi-knowledgable and helpful, if they are in the mood. I like the lay-out and the vibe of the store. New CDs are the focus here, as well as an increased number of DVD titles to choose from. The box set collection is top-notch. The staff selections are always helpful. The Exclusive Company is one of the few record stores in the world, it seems, that relies only on it's employees knowledge, rather than computer data bases for artist information. more
