The staff are so careful to make sure that everything is right, they check your eyes over and over before you even have the treatment done, then they really put themselves out for you. I had to come in for an extra check up the following day which happened to be on a Sunday and the optician came in and opened up just to see me. The only problem I had was that the nearest Excel Laser Vision to me was still quite a journey away and it was a bit of a pain travelling to and from appointments. But that said I would have rather travelled to see them as they were so good. I keep trying to encourage work colleagues to get it done, if I can do it anyone can. It's 5 minutes of a not very nice feeling (but no pain) to be able to see, the next day without glasses/contact lenses. I think that was what I was most worried about was that it was going to hurt or that my eye sight would be worse, but they reassured me about my eye sight (and you can also ring people who have had it done so they can answer any questions you might have) and if I did have some pain after treatment I just put in some of the pain relief eye drops that they gave me and it was instantly gone. I found that the best thing to do after treatment was to go home and go to bed and sleep for a few hours then put in the eye drops and go back to bed for the night, then by the next morning everything is so much clearer and better it's amazing. If you are thinking of doing it go along and have a chat, you can always change your mind, but I'm really pleased I did it.\r
