My overall experience was very good. The operation was not painful just uncomfortable that's what I tell all my friends that are enduring the pain of having to wear glasses, I do recommend it to anyone that ask, I have no problems with my sight since the procedure last year and now I think I should have for it earlier.\r more

I cant believe that this can be done!! It takes hardly any time at all. The service was of such a high, professional standard. Couldn't fault it at all. The thought of having it done was far worse than the actual procedure. The staff are so careful to make sure that everything is right, they check your eyes over and over before you even have the treatment done, then they really put themselves out for you. I had to come in for an extra check up the following day which happened to be on a Sunday and the optician came in and opened up just to see me. The only problem I had was that the nearest Excel Laser Vision to me was still quite a journey away and it was a bit of a pain travelling to and from appointments. But that said I would have rather travelled to see them as they were so good. I keep trying to encourage work colleagues to get it done, if I can do it anyone can. It's 5 minutes of a not very nice feeling (but no pain) to be able to see, the next day without glasses/contact lenses. I think that was what I was most worried about was that it was going to hurt or that my eye sight would be worse, but they reassured me about my eye sight (and you can also ring people who have had it done so they can answer any questions you might have) and if I did have some pain after treatment I just put in some of the pain relief eye drops that they gave me and it was instantly gone. I found that the best thing to do after treatment was to go home and go to bed and sleep for a few hours then put in the eye drops and go back to bed for the night, then by the next morning everything is so much clearer and better it's amazing. If you are thinking of doing it go along and have a chat, you can always change your mind, but I'm really pleased I did it.\r more

Being a 6ft 19 stone rugby player who has had to wear glasses & contact lenses since 11 years old i have found the freedom of not wearing glasses amazing - it also has saved me a lot of hassle when my 2 year old son breaks another pair of glasses. After having my consultation to find out if my eyes were compatible I booked in for the laser surgery the following weekend, the staff were very friendly and made me feel totally at ease. Although I was at the treatment centre all day having the pre treatment check with the surgeon then having to wait around for my turn which made it a long day the results have been totally worth it. After leaving the centre my eyes were very watery but when I got home I did as instructed and laid down in a dark room for a few hours and had a nap. When I woke up I walked into the living room and instantly noticed a massive difference and as the days pasted and the eyes settled it got better still, I'd highly recommend anyone to have the treatment for the small discomfort the benefits are outstanding I now have 20:20 vision and having the wavefront treatment means I don't even get the halo effect driving at night also the 0% finance deals make it easy to spread the cost 10 out of 10.\r more

love the vision i have. but i have had alot of trouble with dry eyes, even though i use the drops, and this i think is giving me headaches. would love to not have to wear reading glasses too. but stil glad i had it done\r more

Here's one for you. 8 years ago, when I was desperate to not go back to glasses after 30 years of contacts finally irritating my legally blind eyes, Dr. Moosa Lazik examined me and said they wouldn't take my money until the new softwear called ""custom wavefront"" came out, which my severe correction required. That's integrity. 2 years later when the technology was ready I went back to NO ONE ELSE, and to this day at the age of 54 I can read as well as see like an eagle far distances. Lazik done right is a miracle, and true professionalism is what I needed and found with Dr. Moosa staffl. It's been 6 years and I've been meaning to pay back in some way with thanks.
