Evolution Audio

Although Evolution Audio is probably ""Junk"" as BOKUSF proclaims... you should ask him why someone from Bay Car Stereo on 86 West El Camino Real would write a review about another stereo shop. I believe he wrote that he should have purchased product from a flea market instead of buying from Evolution Audio. Weird... maybe the owner should pay his bills on time so his employees don't have to purchase stereo products from their competitors directly across the street. FUNNY STUFF MAN. BTW, Bokusf quotes himself as liking what the manager at Bay Car says... maybe he should quit talking about himself. HAHAHAHAHAHA AVOID BOTH STORES AND GO TO CIRCUIT CITY!!! Pros: Store hours aren't correct, but who cares, they should be closed permanently. Cons: Bokusf shops here, and he works at Bay Car, whats that say about them? more

I tried to go to this place twice during the hours they have listed (different at the location and on CitySearch) and both times the place was closed. The first time was a Sunday afternoon, and when I called on Monday they said that Sunday is ""by appointment"", even though they have hours posted outside their door and CitySearch says they're open until 7 on Sundays. Then I tried to go on a Wednesday at 6:30, as they're supposed to be open until 7, and they were closed again, this time with the alarm on but the door open, so when I walked in, I tripped the alarm. The place had stereo equipment and hookahs for sale, and the conversations I had on the phone made it clearer why this happened to be the mix of merchandise. They give mixed signals about how they operate, how long it takes to do an installation, and they just came across as lame. Cons: Not open when they say the are more

Not so sure about these guys. First, I got some pressure to get the job done the same day. Then the guy tells me that he cannot guarantee if the iPod adapter I had with me would work - I had ensured beforehand that the equipment was compatible with my car. He tells me after an hour that my equipment is defective. \r \r I then asked him to call the manufacturer if they can help with the installation. He told me that he tried repeatedly but could not get anyone on the line. When I tried, I was able to get someone within minutes. They charged me one hour of labor even though nothing worked. \r \r Maybe the part was truly defective but I just don't feel comfortable enough to go back. more

this guys are AWESOME! i took my car to BEST BUY earlier today and they couln't get the ipod working on my car. thank god i drove by evolution audio( i didn't even know they were there) and had them check/rewire my Ipod adaptor. took the installer like 30 minutes! he really knows what his doing. he even installed my display and made everything look clean and hid the wires. I would definetly go back to this place next time i need something done in my car. JUST PERFECT! Pros: parking,same day install, customer service, prices Cons: cant complain more

Best experience i've ever had w/ a car shop! the installer and salesman are very helpful! CLEAN install .Not much to choose from in their invertory. But WORTH the wait. CLEAN! seamless install. Evolution Audio is the best car audio shop by far. Not only do they have the lowest prices around but the Customer Service is EXCEPTIONAL. I was having a hard time finding the exact products I was looking for. They were able to find what I needed and gave me an excellent price!!
