A Spa for those who know what a real spa is.... 12/30/2011

Eviama Life Spa provides the essence of zen and tranquility. Penny has been giving me the most amazing massages and facials I have experienced anywhere, including in Europe where such treatments are a way of life, not a "treat" like they are in the States. I literally "float" out of my back to back sessions in an alter state of total tranquility. Needless to say not only to I feel fabulous, my muscles sing and my skin looks luxuriated. I can not speak highly enough of both the total experience and the actually physical/mental benefits. more

Sweet and Simple 9/17/2010

This spa has a light and fresh feel to it. There are large windows, spilling natural light onto the orchids plants and petals. The masseuse was informative, and attentive to my particular preferences. more

Amazing service Emily is the BEST! 8/24/2010

I first went to Eviama Life Spa to get a body contour wrap and while I was treated wonderfully the results for me were "ok". Do not remember who did it. However I have returned twice since because I was treated so wonderfully by the staff. Emily gave me an incredible massage and her personality id delightful. The Next time I booked with her I got a Brazilian and a massage, every woman knows Brazilians can be painful but Emily made sure I was as comfortable as possible. Then after my Brazilian I got yet another one of her incredible massages. I cannot recommend Emily high enough! She is great and I look forward to returning! Everyone I ever dealt with there was awesome! more

Eviama has the best trained staff of any spa I ahve been to. They know the body and have the ability to take you into a medidtative state in less than 1 hour. You acan relax after work take a long luch hour or give yourself time to come home to yourself on a weekend . The staff become friends and you want to return often. more

As soon as you step inside the door you know you have entered a special place. I have come from a stressful day of work and I am transformed into a relaxed new me after the Thai Massage. It is the best massage I have ever experienced and I travel all over the world. I am now hooked and can't wait for my next appointment. The staff was great. Pros: The staff is caring. Whether I've gone for waxing, a general massage or a treadeutic session, I have always left with improved movement and vitality. If you really want your body and spirit to soar free - go try for yourself! Pros: A truly holisitc approach and proven results for healing Cons: I haven't encountered any downsides yet. more

I always read reviews before visiting places--but this is the first time I'm writing one. I just have to write a review for this place. I just got back and had to rave about this place. My experience here was just perfect. wouldn't change a thing. I went in as a surprise gift from my fiance who wanted me to relax. From the moment i stepped in to the moment i left, I was treated so wonderfully. I was greeted by Helen (so sweet and nice) and Emily who helped me decide on a facial. SHE WAS AMAZING and thougtful! She gave me the right products, and I felt incredible. My skin (normally rosy and slightly uneven sometimes) totally glowed. Use the rose scented oil :) Anyways, I'm so thrilled I was treated to this gift..and also got a chance to experience a treatment here. Judging from all the other positive reviews, I'm totally not surprised my experience here was so great.I am excited to go back. thank you eviama (and helen and emily :) ) Pros: ambience, staff, service Cons: none more

I recently went in with back problems and it was suggsted that I try a new massage. The tech was fabulous and the massage interesting. That was two days ago and my back has never felt better. Best place for healing treatments! 3/18/2009

Penny Ordway, owner and healer extraordinaire, has wonderfully manifested her beautiful, earth-conscious, healing spa in the heart of Center City Philadelphia. I have received many types of treatments here: waxing, massage, facials, Maya abdominal massage, and Maya spiritual healing. All were positively transformational. I also love the beautiful, earth-friendly and gorgeous gift selection in the small, attractive boutique in the entrance foyer. Everything a woman could ever want is here! Worth every penny!
