Pros: I had a complaint about some kids upstairs, and after trying to let them know of the noise level, it started up again. I notified the office girls and that next day they r...

The area is nice, near I-5, and Evergreen Hospital, but the rent is out of control! I have been here for two years, and every year, the rent jumps significantly! Currently, a tw...

Bad complex - wouldn't recommend 6/9/2013

Price: Poor\r It seems cheap until you start to realize all the little "fees" that accompany living here..\r Spending close to $1200 for a two bedroom where you pay a $500 deposit, where $250 of that is non-refundable. If you have pets you are required to throw down another $500 deposit and $250 of that is non-refundable. Pretty lame... I've lived in apartments across the country and have never had to pay a non-refundable fee just to move in - instead they would examine the condition of the apartment at the end of the lease and give you a refund based on merit and condition left. Here you are automatically dinged $500 just to move in and live in the place.. Competing complexes located in the same area are far more competitive in pricing and have far more reasonable deposits accompanied with rent.\r The rent seems cheap until you realize that utilities aren't included in the rent. The trash removal fee is about $14 dollars, the combination of gas/electric/water/sewer/trash comes out to be more

Editorial review from Citysearch 6/8/2013

These are by far the worst apartments I have ever lived in. I have lived in apartments all over the country and have never been treated so poorly than here. I moved here from Indianapolis and firstly the non-refundable $500 deposit is completely ridiculous. I have never lived in an apartment where the deposit hasn't been at least partially refundable.\r \r Secondly, the reviews about the walls and hearing people through them are all completely true. I have heard people having sex and even going to the bathroom and I'm not just talking about the flush, I've heard the whole process.. it's pretty disgusting and absolutely unnecessary. You can actually sing to the lyrics of a song you know when someone is playing music - it's that bad...\r \r Thirdly, you actually have to pay a $200 deposit to use the GRILL! When I confronted ""Sylvia"" about the subject, she claimed that this was the rule and that it was completely reasonable - what made me more angry was that she claimed that she never had met me and she was the one who actually moved us into our apartment (and was our correspondence from moving from Indianapolis to Seattle!) and walked us through the apartment complex!\r \r Fourth, when we moved in, we were moved into a handicap-capable residence that had wider doors and hallways - which isn't really a problem, but the problem was that they never communicated these details to us before our move! We moved over 2000 miles to these pieces of ---- apartments and then we find out that our apartment is different from what was advertised and communicated to us originally. Even worse, is that our apartment doesn't even have a microwave! I have never moved into a place that didn't supply a simple microwave and this complex obviously is nickle and diming it's residence.\r \r 5th - Ants invaded our residence and we even supplied a ticket about our issues through the website that we paid rent though - we never got a reply and ""Sylvia"" assumed we did something wrong! I work with ticket systems as a IT help desk admin and I know what I am doing, this is NOT incompetence by me, but the staff at Evergreen Heights Apartments! Also, any review that includes BLACK MOLD is absolutely true. \r \r These apartments are absolutely horrid and I would never recommend these to my worst enemy, let alone someone I'm actually friends with. The only decent thing about these apartments is rent which isn't even worth the money you would save because of the absolute bullsh!t and incompetence you have to deal with to live here.\r \r Would never recommend 0/10 these are terrible apartments and horrid conditions! more

Reasonably Priced Apartments 6/28/2005

When my roomate and I were looking for apartments over a year ago, these were the first we visited in the particular area. We liked them right off the bat, but continued to look around to compare price. These were by far the nicest for the money. There were actually other rentals in the area, that were not nearly as nice as more expensive. The complex is pretty quiet, no rowdy tenants. It has a very nice pool and a resonable fitness center which closes at 6:00. I work during the day so I am only available to take advantage of the facility on the weekends. The staff is pretty responsive. The few occasions we have needed assistance they have been quick and efficient in coming to the rescue. more
