Evergreen Chinese Restaurant

I have tried this buffet twice once in 2004 and then again, against my better judgment just a few days ago. It is one of the worst Chinese buffets I have been to. I thought maybe it had changed since my first visit but it is actually worse now than I remember. People in this small county don't know good food so they keep coming back, but save your money and your valuable time and eat somewhere else. The selection is so so, the quality is horrible, the temperature is cold, the taste is poor etc. etc. The dining atmosphere is avg. I am by no means a gourmet diner and will eat almost anywhere, but this place is not worth going to. I did go to one place that was actually worse in Orlando once, so I gave this restaurant 2 stars. The Evergreen Chinese restaurant is one of our favorite restaurants. As a matter of fact, I have a lunch date there tomorrow with my sister and my friend. They have so many choices on their buffet. Some of my favorites are the crab rangoons, general tso's chicken, honey chicken, wonton soup, white and fried rice, happy family, chineese donuts for dessert, and also, they have a fresh salad bar and sushi bar everyday, included in the cost of lunch. On special ocassions such as holidays and my birthday, my son will buy me lunch there or give me gift certificates from there, because he knows it's one of my favorites. more

The Evergreen Chinese Restaurant usually offers a great selection of dishes, with many unique dishes to pick from. They have an all you can eat buffet, which includes salad, soups,appetizers, (the beef sticks are great as are the crab wantons), dinners,.dessert and more.They offer everything from mild to spicy selections. The service is excellent and the waiters are very attentive. The only downside to this restaurant is that sometime during slow times, the food is not as hot as it should be. If you go during the peak hours, you will have a hot, great tasting experience. more

From the outside you won't believe what a wonderful restaurant there is inside. Inside you get to see all the nice wood work, and the huge buffet. There are lots of wonderful items on the buffet. The staff is very nice and respectful. The food is great, but the experience is even better. Try it, I guarantee you will not be disappointed. more

This is probably the best chinese buffet that I've ever been to. The atmosphere was awesome, some really beautiful woodwork. They have some very unique foods on the buffet, I had never had lotus flower before. The price is great for the amount of food out on the buffet, I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone that likes chinese food. more
