GOOD FIND ON 14 WINDOWS 12/9/2009

I used Evans Glass to remove and replace 14 existing windows. I solicited three different bids from different companies. Penguin Windows came in at $24,600. No Way. Champion came in at $15,300. Not bad. Evans Glass came in at $12,600. Bingo! The funniest part about it was I believe I purchased a good product. Penguin has a very nice window as well but the price was just to much to handle. Champion's window I was not impressed with. When the installes came out they completed the job in one day. The only problem I had was the fact that they do not paint around the window after install. They said I was responsible for that. You think after spending that much money I would not have to do a thing. The windows are very nice. Overall I think it went very well. Pros: BEST PRICE I FOUND more

WE HAD TWO DIFFERENT INSTALLS DONE. WE DID THE FRONT OF THE HOUSE. THEN WE DID THE REST OF THE HOUSE. 22 WINDOWS TOTAL FOR AROUND 18K. BOTH JOBS WERE SUPERB!! THEY REALLY SURPRISED US. THE ONLY PROBLEM WE HAD WAS WITH ONE LOCK ON A WINDOW AND THEY CAME OUT AND FIXED IT RIGHT AWAY. \r Pros: VERY SMOOTH DEAL more

More Comfortable 12/8/2009

The windows are beautiful. The installer men did a great job. hey were very pleasent and worked hard to do a job well done. I have noticed a the tempature to be more comfortable without feeling the drafts. \r \r Pros: No more drafts more

Windows Windows Windows 12/3/2009

Evans Glass found me at True Value Hardware Store. They came to my home and did an energy inspection on my windows. I had no Idea they were in such bad shape. They showed me the Eurocraft window and I fell in love. I could not afford to do the whole house so I started with the front. If I had a question I called the office and they answered it right away. I probably was annoying to the office people but they were always polite and upbeat with me. They came out four weeks later to do the install. Travis and Jamie were great. I am very pleased with my new windows. I was impressed with the young couple that came to my door to initiate the process. The follow up salesman Chris Babler convinced me that I would be buying a first class product. The installers were very professional, very courteous and amazed me by their speed and efficiency. I found Evans Glass in my Ace Hardware store. I was kinda skeptical at first. They came out presented a good product so i ordered it. I thought it was going to be a mess. I thought it was going to take three days to change my old windows out from my 1913 brick house. The install guys did it all in one day. The windows fit perfect. The guys really had there stuff together. I would recommend Evans Glass to anyone that wants it done by the pros. I still can not believe they did the whole job in one day. I think my neighbor just ordered windows from them to. \r \r more

The sales man was very informative. The office people were very helpful. The srew that put the windows in were on time, very polite, and answered all my questions. Pay My Bill 11/27/2009

I just purchased windows from Evans Glass and they are paying my bill. They are sending a check for $638.42 to my utility company. It is a new program they are starting. They said there rivals say they will save up to %40 percent energy on there bills but there is no way to prove it. So Evans Glass is paying it forward. Kind of a cool idea. Evans Glass did 7 winows and a patio door in my home. The price was fair. The installers did a good job. They did break one window on install. They came out and fixed it next week no problem. I was scared at first spending that kind of money. It all worked out in the end.\r \r Pros: window looks real nice more

Evans repeat call-backs 8/25/2009

I had a similar story to ""Windowshopper"". The manager could not get my name straight, and asked for my ""Husbands"" name and told me that Evans would not do business without my husband. I told him there was no ""MR."" in my name. Grudgingly, they set up a time, with a promise of at least of $25.00 gas or restaurant certificate for my time. After a full hour of poking around my home, they wanted to set up another time for a more complete estimate, for which I said, NO Deal, do not call back. But they continue to call. French doors are great 6/4/2008

So my wife and I had three companies come out and bid our home this winter. These three companies were close in price; all within about 15% it seemed. We went the Evans guys because they were more local than the other two and if things went wrong I would walk into their office and wring their necks. We ended up doing the whole house and the install guys did pretty good. They make one window too big but they said it would be no problem. They came out four days later with the new window and it was the right size. I thought that was really fast. \r \r Pros: Fast, fast, fast service Cons: One window was wrong but it was fixed fast; so no real gripe here more

Windows for my house 6/4/2008

I really like the windows they have a good quality to them. They are made a big difference in the noise from the street and they seem to keep the house and a better constant temperature. Although we haven't had but one warm day here in Portland so far this year.\r My sales rep was kind of a rookie and didn't know how to answer all my questions but the install guy went over those issues with me when they measured the windows. \r The installers didn't smoke while on my project and that made me happy. The neighbors came by after the job was done to look at the windows and they were happy that Josh and Brandon (the installers) didn't curse because they had kids playing in the yard.\r Overall it was a good thing.
