European Wax Center

Went for my first Brazilian wax yesterday & Gina was awesome!! I have done a lot of research. I was expecting alot of pain & was surprised by the small amount of discomfort. Gina explained everything she was going to do & was very professional. Can't wait to go again. more

I have gotten a Brazilian wax at a few other places but I will never go back to any of them, my experience at European wax center was amazing. First off every person who works there is really nice and extremely informative about all of their money saving packages. The wax they use is ten times less painful than the soft wax other places use. The entire time the lady who was doing my Brazilian wax made me feel extremely comfortable and was very easy to talk to, to keep my mind off of the pain. Not to mention their prices are amazing, $40 for a full Brazilian and the first wax you get is half off. I will never go anywhere else other than European wax center!! more

I've been going to the EWC since they first opened. Seriously. When they were in their training week, i went for a free wax and have recommended numerous people to their facility. I've been getting brazilian waxes for years at another local (across the street) spa so i have knowledge of exactly what i'm looking for in this service. Here are my pros and cons: Pros: price- definitely lower than other places time- a 15 minute brazilian wax?! Amazing Cons: Lack of privacy- Again, i've had this service performed for years and I was always allowed to undress in private. For some reason at the EWC, the staff stays in the room with you while you undress and dress. This is very odd. I've grown used to it but its still very strange to me. I have even written to their corporate office about it. Also, other salons provide you with a "modesty" towel so that you may cover yourself up if needed. Not here. Strange positioning- At first i thought this was just with one waxer but apparently it's with everyone at EWC. There is a certain way they want you to open your legs for the was that is not comfortable and personally i don't think it allows them to reach everything that needs to be reached! Also, during a full brazilian wax, the hair around your anus can be waxed. they expect you to lay on your stomach and spread your cheeks with your hands. I am not now, nor have i ever been an olympic gymnast. this doesn't work for me. I complained about this too. Nobody has gotten back to me.... more

I have had my chest waxed several times at high priced salons and it was always painful and I always broke out with ingrown hairs. I went to European Wax and had an unbelievable experience. The wax they use was less painful and Christa finished in half the time that I am use to. They told me about the ingrown hair serum and I had my doubts that it would work but to my suprise I used it and never had any bumps or ingrowns. I am a fan and my wife loves the results. I have recommended Christa to all my friends. Thanks EWC!! more

I was a few minutes early for my appointment so the receptionist asked if I would like a brochure and water to to drink. We then had a conversation about the types of services I would be interested in and she pointed out different packages that provided me with a cost savings. It was time for my appointment and I want to tell you, their unique wax does away with any reservations you have ever had regarding waxing. With no cloth strips to Rip Off! European Wax Center's wax basically rolls off, making the experience completely painless. After my appointment there was no pressure to book my next appointment or to buy their products though I was given a recommendation for a follow-up product, which I declined. Try this and see for yourself. more

After the wax, the promotion continued as the provider said: ""I'll see you in three weeks!"" followed by a push from the receptionist to book another appointment. Then, the provider grabbed a product off of the shelves and placed it on the reception counter, as if I had already agreed to purchasing it! I could deal with the constant hounding about their product and prepayment plans if the wax had been decent. However I found the entire experience to be downright awful. I will not be back. more
