I was referred to Sam at European Jewelers in Mount Prospect from a friend at work. I went to see him with a printed picture of the ring that my girlfriend (now wife) had emailed me. I told Sam what I was looking for, showed him the picture and how much I wanted to spend and he went to work. more

Excellent Customer Service 2/16/2010

After several months of searching for an engagement ring, I stopped in European Jewelers based on a friend's experience. It turned out to be the best experience ever. Not only were the people great to work with in choosing a diamond, but the pricing was outstanding. I did a custom setting, so a plastic mold was made and altered until it was to our liking. The whole process was a great experience. We will be using them for the wedding bands as well as future jewelery purchases! Pros: Friendly people, outstanding service Cons: Honestly none, best expeirence when buying jewelery more

Best experience with a jeweler 9/29/2009

I've had very poor luck finding a good jeweler in Texas, and my Mom pointed me to Sam at European Jeweler's while I was visiting Chicago. She absolutely loves this place, and gets all her rings and such sized and repaired here. I was not disappointed. Sam is by far the best and most patient Jeweler I have ever dealt with. He spent the better part of 2 hours, to find the perfect stone for me. During that time I saw a number of customers bring in their jewelry for sizings and repairs. Most if not all of the pieces were returned to the ladies within a few minutes. I was amazed at how efficient they were. What's even better is all the people coming in seemed to be repeat customers. It's so nice to have found a place that actually cares about their customers. I have a feeling I'll be coming back to Sam every time I come back home. Pros: Fantastic people, great service Cons: I don't live close enough to use them more often more

Great local Jeweler 9/12/2009

Received a recommendation from a friend and her husband that had a great experience. The service was great, Sam explained everything and even compared his prices with other Jewelers. I bought my fiance's engagement ring there and will go back for her and my wedding bands. Pros: Excellent service, price and guarantee more

Best service and excellent pricing on diamonds 8/24/2009

My wife wanted to change her center diamond on her ring and one of her friend recommended to visit European Jewelers in Mt. prospect. Sam at European jewelers was not only answering my wife questions but also explained about the diamond and how to buy for the budget we had planned. He gave us an excellent trade for my wife's stone. Since then we have recommended his store to all our close friends and family. Also my wife's brother is buying a diamond ring for his girl friend. Pros: Very helpful owners and staff Cons: Long drive for me but was worth it more

I have purchased several pieces of jewelry from European Jewelry and they are outstanding. I am always complimented. They are the only one I trust with my repairs. I have sent all of my friends to them and they are very happy. I will never go to another jeweler. Sam and Solomon are just the best! They are fair and always eager to please. Best jewelry store in the area ! 8/5/2009

Excellent service ! My wife's engagement ring is like a brand new now ! She is very happy ! Last week the shank of the ring broke and I brought it to European Jewelry for repair. They put a new shank and they retipt the prongs, because they were wearing off. I got it very fast - the next day with a very reasonable price ! Highly recommended !!! If you go there you will probably meet SAM a really nice guy... he will tell you everything that you want to hear -you will even get a great discount, and then the great exerience is ending.... your jewelry will be damaged although he will say it's not. My lasted for 3 weeks... The quality is the poorest you could get. DON'T EVEN THINK ABOUT GOING THERE AND REPAIR ANYTHING! The guy who works for him- oh you could do a better job! Not telling the truth, giving a damaged stuff, and all that waiting for the jewelry that you ordered these are main REASONS YOU SHOULD AVOID THIS STORE. Sam is nice and this is the trick... Pros: good samples of the jewelry Cons: damaged, not lasting jewelry, bad repairs! more
