Worst Experience Ever - Don't Waste Your Time 9/6/2011

I 100% agreed with Mitchell Blenden! I went there to get my suit tailored for my wedding. I specifically told Ms. Yolanda Van that I was looking for a clean crisp Italian cut for my suit. She advised me to pick it up on following Sat. I arrived 1st thing in the morning and my suit was not ready. I went back the following week; my suit was wrinkled and not tailored to body as I asked. I had to come back to 3 days later to pick up my suit. Finally, she got it right today, but my suit was still wrinkle and had lint over it. She claimed the material on the suit caused it to wrinkle from the inside and could not be pressed out. What? That didn't make any sense what she said. I have never had such a problem with getting my suits tailored in all of my adult life. I will never ever ever go back to them. They do not know anything on Italian cut for men suits! THE WORST! more

Worst Tailors Ever 8/27/2011

Wow they are horrible. I brought in one jacket and two pairs of paints for some slight alteration. I needed the waist brought in and a hem. They tried charging me 278 dollars for something I could have brought else where for 30. They are a huge rip-off. DO NOT GO HERE. They are not good. more

AWFUL 4/8/2008

Lost My Alteration Ticket, After Two Years-They Found My Suit! Love These People! 1/5/2007

Just a little over two years ago, I brought the jacket of my expensive Alexander Julian suit in for a torn sleeve repair. Somehow I lost my ticket, time went by, got busy and forgot about it. Stupid me. Well today, doing New Year reorganization, I came across the ticket, and gave European Tailors a call. And they still had my jacket. I rushed over to Peachtree Battle, to the shop, and picked up my old friend. Beautiful work, and beautiful people. Ask for Lin, she is the best. And it only cost me 55.00, better than 500.00 plus, for a new suit! Happy New Year To Me! Pros: I'm Estatatic, They Still Have My Suit, After Two Years! Beautiful Work! Cons: None! Are You Kidding! more

Beware!!! 1/2/2007

On Thursday 12/28/06 my wife took a new pair of slacks to this place to get altered for a News Year's eve function. She was assured the alteration could be done by 12-noon on Saturday 12/30/06. When we went to collect the slacks at approx. 2.15pm on Saturday the shop could not find them! We waited for half an hour while the staff appeared to search high and low for the slacks but to no avail. Interestingly, there was another woman there at the same time in exactly the same predicament - they couldn't find her slacks either! We left after half an hour only because we had a 3pm commitment that we had to keep in the city - and only after the woman in charge at the shop assured us that if they found the slacks she would call my home number and leave arrangements for us to pick them up in time for the New Year's eve function. When we arrived home late on the Saturday night there was a message from the woman at the shop saying they had found the slacks - but nothing more. Despite the late hour we phoned the shop, intending to leave a voice mail, but their voice mail was full. We called several times Sunday but the shop was closed and their voice mail remained full. Needless to say this caused my wife much distress and she had to reorganize her wardrobe for our New Year's eve function out of town. When we went to collect the slacks on Tuesday 1/2/07 the shop wanted to charge us the full price of the alterations (despite having failed to provide us with the altered slacks for New Year's eve). But worse was to come: during the ensuing negotiations, the woman apparently in charge of the shop grabbed my wife's arms several times and pushed her against a wall once -- and a male employee attempted to lock me in the shop until we paid the full price of the alterations. I had to call the police. These are nasty, incompetent people without a shred of understanding of customer service.\r \r \r more

Improperly Altered Bridesmaid Dress 4/17/2006

The first time I came to pick my dress up, all of the silk covered bottoms along the back of the dress were missing. I was informed that the ""dress looked better without them."" I left the dress an additional day to have them sewn back on. Next day I go in, and only some of the buttons had been sewn back on the dress. I demanded the remainder be presented. After waiting 30 minutes, my dress was presented still missing 15 buttons. I decided I should take the dress as is and go elsewhere. They told me the cost was $95. I explained that I did not think it was fair to charge full price for alterations that were not as guaranteed. They would not let me take MY dress until I paid the full amount. Very poor service and no recourse for me at all. more
