ETour lied to us nearly 10 times, but at least we did get something out of the deal. Lie #1: When they called, I asked if it was a timeshare, and they replied ""no"". They found out we had 4 kids and 2 adults in our family, so they tried to sell us Disney tickets, but we didn't bite. Lie #2: Then they said they would give us a great deal on car rental, just $100 for a week and we paid it because that sounded so good. But when we called to rent the car, they said that car was too small and we had to pay an extra couple hundred dollars to upgrade to a vehicle that would hold us (even though they knew we needed room for 6), and then tax was $70 extra. Use AAA to rent cars, not Etour. Lie #3: Unit has king bed. Lie #4: Presentatation is 90 minutes, actually is 3-4 hours and we had to attend 2 sessions, lost a full day. We paid $5500 for an 8 day vacation, or $700 per day. One of those $700 days was wasted on presentations... factor that in. Lie #5: Hotel has shuttle service. We had to pay $200 extra to extend the car rental 2 more days plus $60 for Disney parking plus gas. Lie #6: We lost a Disney ticket and Etour said we needed to pay them another $100 to replace it. Actually Disney's Guest Relations simply reprinted one for us. Lie #7: Kids have playroom to sit in during timeshare session. That playroom was a coloring book at the next table over. Lie #8: Cost would be $150 for the hotel, and knowing we had a family of 6. Extra few hundred to upgrade. Tip: you don't get anything for free.. we paid a fair price for our vacation. more

These people have been calling me for the past three months. I told them I recently had spine surgery and they keep calling back so today I said the same thing and I let the guy finish talking but once I told him I didn't want the deal he hung up on me, that is the last time I am nice to those people more

AN ABSOLUTE SCAM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I recieved my five day ""package"" from setting through a boring timeshare presentation. The the fun began. I called to get information and set up the vacation with dates in mind. We got seveal return calls to ""activate"" the package. FInally we set it up with a couple of upgrades to the $99 package. The first upgrade was transportation, then ungrading the rooms to a condo. Sounded ok so we were set, or so we thought, that is until they called back and said that our confirmation number was not really a confirmation number but a request number and the resort we were planning on staying at was not available and we needed to pay an additional $285 in addition to the $267 for the upgrade that we already paid to exchange for a regular hotel without kitchenette. We attempted to explain we could not do this because it was adding expense for the room we already had been told was set as well as the additional cost for eating out three meals a day for the three days. We stated we were interested in being on the beach no some inland motel. They would not budge or make accomodations after several calls to various levels of management. So this company set us up with a ""free"" vacation that ended up being around $1100. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY DEALING WITH THESE SCAMMERS. more

ETours- Proceed With Caution 2/16/2012

These people are stalkers!! They keep calling me even though I have shown little interest in buying the package. They offer a deeper discounted trip every time they call. However, when I ask for a callback number, they conveniently disconnect me. I don't trust it because they only want your payment, TODAY. They don't want you to contact them. Beware. more

ETours 1/17/2012

It is good to know that I can contact my credit card and dispute charges. ETours is not as much a scam and a hard sell. The claim of a 14 to 17 day reviews period is their interpretation, not necessarily calendar days. Calling to cancel - even with 2 people's names, one claiming to be a head manager, will not make cancelling easier. So, be careful. I did use the package once - it was fine. To get the event tickets, however, you do have to take a condo 2-3 hour tour... otherwise, no tickets. Once on their buy list, you will get endless calls back. Be persistent in trying to cancel and be sure within their 14 days. Except lots of meetings, closed cancellation hours, being on hold, questions about why the cancelation, etc. There is not r real review period to decide - they want the slots sold and hold fast to that. Just be careful and if you really do have Florida/Orlando plans - take advantage of the package. Otherwise, stay clear - they'll call back another time anyway! Same deals over and over. Same locations,,, more

I GOT MY MONEY BACK FROM ETOUR AND TRAVEL 10/24/2011

I have bought this package few weeks back, Then i decided to cancel this package Since i have some personal problem in my availablity. But they were trying to use my situtation. They delayed my package delivery for more than 15 days by giving some funny reasons like the given adderess is not valid, or zip code and Apartment number is misplaced or package is already shipped but we cant control postal service, if you again beg them they will give some 5 digit fake fedex tracking number and cut the call. IF you call again and ask the exact number, they will say they are using USPS Service, if u calll them again, some one wil pick ur call and ask you from the begining and tell you the same update. If you ask them to talk to their manager, they will not give their contact, but they will get your number and tell you they will reach you soon. it never happens. If you torture again , then will give the same dialed number as their manager number. Just like they will do all kind of frauds or scam or whatever you can say. more

pack of lies 8/26/2011

I was told that I had 15 days from the time I received the package to consider it and cancel, so I agreed to review the package. It was supposed to arrive in 7-10 business days. I tried to call back 3 days later to cancel since I had an emergency surgery for my dog, but they said they couldn't cancel it without the cancel code in my package. I waited for the package; it never arrived and I called after 10 days and asked if it had been sent. They said they would send it priority mail and it would be here in 2-3 days. It did not arrive and I called back. They said they couldn't control the postal service and to give it a few more days. I waited 2 more days and called back. I talked to one of the managers (the second one I'd talked to) and he says that it had been 15 days since I purchased the package and there was nothing he could do but send me a new copy of the package. So, I haven't even seen the vacation I've ""bought"" without being able to cancel. AVOID THIS COMPANY LIKE THE PLAGUE UNLESS YOU ARE ALREADY COMMITTED TO GOING. more

Awesome!!!!!! 4/24/2011

I was told about etour and travel through a friend, I decided to log on and see if I could find any information and reviews about this company, when I found reviews I saw that 8/10 reviews was bad and after reading everything I didn't want to go but by this time my trip was already paid for. On 4/2/2011 I did take my trip and it was better than expected, it was great, well worth it, we stayed @ the Sheraton North hotel which was about 20 mins away from their office but again well worth it hotel was great, it's not a scam and you really get what they say, but you will pay more If you upgrade anything, and to let every1 know it's not a timeshare, but you will have to do a tour which lasts no more than 1 1/2, it's worth it people more

Do not take this call 4/26/2010

I lost the information on this company after paying $300. They called a year and a half later to make me another offer since I had enjoyed my last vacation. I told them that I was happy to hear from them because I had lost everything had been through a lot and wanted to see if they would work with me. They hung up the phone on me. Then called back two weeks later with the same crap. then, they call to make it up to me by giving me a $300 credit to pay a $600 vacation. They wanted another $300. They treated me like a moron an idiot Pros: None - they lie with straight face Cons: they lie that it is not a time share more

These people do not deserve business 4/10/2010

Like another reviewer, I was contacted by these people and bought the deal but then I realized it was a time-share. The person I talked to said it wasn't a timeshare and I didn't need to listen to any salespitch which was untrue. I cancelled the deal because I was lied to. They have called me several times since and when I tell them I did NOT buy the deal, they get rude but keep on calling. They had hung up on me; asked me if I smoked ""crack"" and other rude comments when I tell them to leave me alone. This is a terrible company. It doesn't matter that one person fell for it and had a great time. I say stear clear of these sham artists. Cons: Everything more

Totally rude! Unprofessional! Scammers! 4/2/2010

Just got a call from this company. Tried to sell me a $99 trip to Orlando/Daytona for a week trip with car rental included. The catch? Attend a 1hr timeshare presentation. Sounded pretty good right? Cons: Everything more

Horrible company!!!! Scam, liars beware!!! 9/10/2009

I purchased the deal for $99 and they said I can cancel it anytime but when I called and wanted to cancel they told me I was out of my cancellation policy, which was 14 days. They offered a Key West in addition for free but when I called to make a reservation they said Key West was out nothing they can do. In fact the manager ERIC hang up on me and told his subordinates not take a call from me ever again. He wouldn't even give me the sales number. AFter a few days the sales are calling me again to offer the tour I already purchased. They wanted me to purchase that stinking tour again can you believe it. When I told them no, the sales shouted ""Horse"" and hang up on me. I don't even have a words to describe those horrible phone calls except that they are liars, scam and unprofessional. People don't go or take an offer because they are scam!!!! Pros: re train so called telemarketing/sales people Cons: The lowest of the scams more

I went to look for them again as we are going to go again in December. I thought they were fantastic! Everything went over without a hitch!!! Pros: Followed through with everything they promised Cons: They wanted us to tour Mystic Dunes Time Share more

Amazing Deal!!! 2/17/2009

I just got back from a vacation i took to Orlando on an E Tour and Travel package, and let me say this is truly an amazing deal. The complaints i've read online all have to deal with getting a refund, so i can't vouch for that process since i took the vacation, but they do mention you have 15 days for a refund which i think alot of people didn't listen to. First of all, understand that you are not getting something for nothing, nothing in life is free. They are trying to sell a timeshare, and so to get their deal, you have to attend a 2 hour timeshare presentation (at each of their locations if you go to both, i only did Orlando, but I've been told I can do Daytona at a later time). If you've attended one before, you know they can be pushy and you just have to stick to your guns. The lady we got was awesome though, she didn't try to pressure us and took no for an answer. Now here's the deal: I got 3 nights at the Sheraton Downtown Orlando for $89!!! The regular nightly price was $150. In addition, I also got 2 free tickets to Universal Studios. So if you do the math, i paid $89 for $600 worth of goodies! I'll admit, the call i got was suspicious, but i took the vacation and had a blast and saved lots of cash. However, listen to EVERYTHING they have to say, any guests you take have to attend the timeshare presentation, and yes you have to pick up your hotel vouchers at their location, but come on, thats a small thing to ask for when you're getting these deals. I understand you have to be weary of scammers, but most of the bad reviews you'll see on the net are from people who got a call and declined the offer. How can you bad mouth an offer you didn't take?? Pros: Amazing value Cons: None, Timeshare Presentation requirement is explained on the phone more

Very unprofessional customer service 6/24/2008

I just received a call from E Tour and Travel and told the agent I was not interested and cancelled the call. I immediately received another call and was told by the agent ""don't fill out online surveys if you don't want to be called, and then she used an expletive that cannot be repeated. I called the number back, got a different agent and reported the incident. Apparently there is no web site for this service and I believe it is not a reputable company. Be very careful about giving any credit card information to such organizations. Check the internet and you will find many bad reviews from this solicitor. Cons: Very rude customer service. more

ETour & Travel ... We had a great time in Florida 6/4/2008

Most of the comments I've seen about ETour & Travel are from people that commited to go... and cancelled. Not much info from people that actually went. Well, here's our story. more

Avoid Purchasing an E-Tour and Travel Package -They Stink 4/13/2008

What a rip off . I wish I'd never bought the package. Tried to get my money back, no way they were going to do that! My rental car was 4 hours late, no call from e-tour to notify me, which thru me around midnight to check into our hotel. It didn't help that after 11 hours of driving, we had to drive past our hotel exit for an additional hour round trip to pick up our hotel voucher, that was placed in a night mail box. The first tour tour lasted over two hours. Didn't know I was going to be required to take another tour in the Daytona Beach location, but I am.....also the Daytona Beach location is not in Daytona, it's actually New Smyrna Beach. Not exactly down the street. I don't want to do the second tour, it says on my confirmation sheet that I will forfeit my tickets. That's ok, but now they are telling me that I will also be charged with the hotel charge.-which is totally non smoking. only a $500 charge if you smoke in your room . So far no good. Do't do the etour package, spend your money, they consumed much to much of my needed vacation, and the stress is worse than work!!! Stay away. Cons: time consuming, parking charges at hotel, nothing convient, more
