Wonderful Experience with Katie 4/16/2009

I decided to check out Estetica after driving by. The receptionist set me up with Katie. She took the time to listen to what I liked and disliked about my hair. From there she came up with the perfect cut and color especially for me. I looked great and felt great. It couldn't have been a better experience. She was wonderful. more

I have seen Samantha twice for brow waxes now. She is so gifted at what she does! My waxes are painless and she does an amazing job at shaping my brows with out making them look too thin. exactly what I needed! 2/17/2009

I was pleasantly surprised by the beautiful salon & spa tucked inside a historc building in St. Paul. The atmosphere was comfortable and I could really relax in the environment. I received an Aveda facial and massage and felt like the service provider really listened to my concerns, customized my services and educated me. It was so refreshing! I even received a makeup application after my services, complimentary! more

Best Eye Brow Wax and Amazing Lashes 1/12/2009

I saw Kae at Estetica for a brow wax and she did an amazing job. My brows turned out perfect and she made me feel really comfortable and relaxed. The bed was heated and the music was chill. I told her I was getting married and she suggested eyelash extensions for my wedding day. I went in to see her a month before my wedding and my lashes turned out more amazing then I ever imagined. I fell in love with them. I even decided to keep them after my wedding and I get compliments on them all the time. My husband thinks they're very hot. \r Thank you Estetica for a perfect wedding day and making me feel beautiful! I'll be back to see you soon. Aveda Overpriced, Poor Massage 10/7/2008

I had a massage at Estetica in St. Paul and I have to be honest, I have never been able to find a good massage therapist who graduated from the Aveda Institute. I had a male massage therapist, and was ready to relax. Well, I relaxed but kept waiting for the massage to start. His fingers/hands stroked me lightly like someone just touching your arm. I was starting to get irritated by the fact my muscles were not being worked. He spent a lot of time on fancy (unnecessary) draping technique which left me wondering... "I paid how much for this?". I've had a better massage from a massage intern. I was offered products which I know from researching Aveda are way overpriced. So I never buy Aveda products (they're drying to the skin anyway). Great building, bad parking and somewhat hard to find. I felt somewhat rushed into my appointment as a result. more

Great for wedding parties! 8/17/2008

I made appointments for myself, my mother, and two attendants on my wedding day for hair and makeup. I also did a trial appointment with hair and makeup for myself a couple of weeks before the big day. The salon is wonderful and all of us left the salon feeling like a million dollars. It was difficult to find the building the first time, but the parking lot is plenty large, and the builidng is beautiful and full of character. The only downside to this salon was that it is divided into three different levels and all four of us were separated, so we couldn't really hang out. However, overall, everyone really enjoyed their experience. Pros: great atmosphere, great flexibility in prices Cons: kind of hard to find, hard to keep a group together more

My Estetica experience 6/13/2008

I had been seeing the same stylist for years. I knew I had a loyal relationship with her before she had retired. My daughter has been seeing a stylist at Estetica named Emily. My daughter reassured me that Emily would be a perfect fit for my hair needs. Having full trust in my daughter I went to the salon. I had a hard time finding the salon, but after a few minutes of driving around I finally found the salon. I was greeted with a huge smile by the most wonderful receptionists! Emily really took the time to discuss my needs and what I was looking for. She even suggested some new hairstyles. She was so helpful and very patient. I walked out of the chair feeling extremely confident and felt like a hundred bucks!! I was so excited to walk into work the next day with my new cut and color! I look forward to my next appointment. more

my new favorite salon! 5/16/2008

Simply perfect. I am more than happy with my choice to go to Estetica salon. I had a stressful week preparing for finals so I decided to treat myself after I was finished. This couldn't have been a better reward! The salon itself is lovely in a historical brownstone building it's absolutly beautiful. My hairstylist, Modesty, was amazing as well. She made me feel comfortable and relaxed after the week of finals torture. She put life back into my hair and made me feel summery again! I think we could all use a bit of summer after the not-so-spring-like spring ;) I'm ready for the sun with my brilliant highlights and awesome cut! more

best haircut 3/1/2008

could not be happier!!! I moved to the twin cities about 2 years ago, and have tried about 5 different salons, and have not been happy with any of them. I have even been to two different JUUT locations, and paid close to 80.00 for a haircut, and it was nothing more than a waste of money. \r Decided that I would try Estetica. Modesty did the most excellent job. Great color, and the best haircut. She listens to what the customer wants, and does not just chop you into the ""style of the season"" look. She is awesome, and I would recommend her to everyone!! more

Emily is amazing! 1/22/2008

I had moved to the cities and bounced around from salon to salon trying to find the right fit. I will fully admit, I am shamefully picky with stylists. My hair has alwasy been my ""thing"" that I get compliments on and that's important! On a whim, I picked a salon near my neighborhood and have since fallen in love! I coincidentally and thankfully was set up an appointment with Emily, who I have religiously seen for 3 years now. As an Aveda salon, Estetica's atmosphere is calm and relaxing, all while being classy and upscale. I have NEVER in all of my 3 years going encountered a rude employee. Everyone makes you feel important and respected and they are all extremely friendly. You are never rushed and never pushed into buying the products. I would guarantee everyone that has had an experience at Estetica is still going there! Pros: amazing staff, beautiful and comfortable atmosphere, have NEVER had a bad experience Cons: It is not Great Clips prices, but you are paying for what you get. Quality isn't dirt cheap! more

Estetica 1/21/2008

Before going to Estetica salon I had been searching for a hairstylist for years. A friend had recommended me to see her stylist . I went into the salon with no expectations and came out the happiest woman alive!!!!! My friends stylist Emily had many suggestions for my hair, and she gave me the the cut I had been trying to achieve for years!!! She went over the top to make sure my needs had been satisfied. i had such a great facial and wax at estetica! i saw jade for the first time, and i am now a lifetime client! the waxing was the least painful it's ever been, and my skin has never looked so radiant! I am quite the veteran when it comes to spas, and I have to say Estetica was the best ever! The whole experience was wonderful-starting right away when I checked in. The receptionists were so friendly. I had Jade for a massage and facial, and it was wonderful! She helped my sciatica (I even canceled my chiropractic appointment)so much, and my skin looks and feels great! She was very helpful and knowledgeable about everything. more

Welcoming atmosphere! 6/19/2006

Love this place!!! I always feel very welcome and leave feeling better than when I came in. Ann Marie is the most wonderful esthetician who takes her time and make you feel like you are the only person she is seeing that day. Also, Dede (stylist) has great fresh ideas and always offers great suggestions for styles you wouldn't normally attempt. Prices are very fair for the service! Pros: parking, calming atmosphere more

I had a package ""Refresh"" booked for the day and it was amazing. SOME of the BEST message ever!!! Very relaxing, nice and just amazing! Manicures, pedicures, hair style and make-up were all top of the line. Had a very good time there. People who work there are all beautiful, sexy, nice and well groomed themselves. I love Estetica! 1/31/2006

Estetica strives for excellence in all aspects of a salon and spa. The staff and environment are comfortable and welcoming. The aroma and sensation of Aveda fill the air the minute you walk and in all the way back home with you. The staff takes their time to actually get to know their clients and care for their needs. Personable, attentive, upbeat staff who really care customers. I see Jennifer for my hair, and get TONS of compliments on the color and the cuts. I've referred several friends and a dozen strangers to her. Jennifer rocks! The salon staff are professional and helpful, and very knowledgeable about Aveda. And, no need to wait weeks for an appt. They find a way to fit me in with a day's notice or less. I moved to another city, but I still go to Estetica. I love them! Pros: Easy to make appts, Upbeat staff, Aveda concept salon! My Experience at Estetica Salon 8/13/2003

Recently I visited Estetica Salon in St. Paul, and in my oppinion it is truly a hidden treasure. From the moment I arrived and was met by the friendly and helpful receptionist, to the moment I left my stylist and felt completely pampered. I have visited other Aveda salons before, but Estetica has an environment that is as unique and welcoming as its staff. I have always been very picky about my hair and was reluctant about changing it. After consulting with my stylist I was much more open to experiencing a new look. Another great asset to Estetica is the free parking, which in the Twin Cities is always a plus. I also was impressed with the New Talent stylist. Not only did they have affordable rates, but they were friendly and confident as well. My experience at Estetica Salon was both relaxing and rewarding.
