I have been to many of the spa in Philadelphia area and by far the best experience I had was at the Escape Away Spa. I am used to getting massaged pretty regularly due to low back pain and I also have small children who keep me pretty tied up. The staff at Escape Away Spa was so pleasant and kind, I felt right at home. I was given a tour of the spa and was amazed by the splendor and ambiance of this place! My massage therapist was phenomenal! I haven?t ever felt that way after a massage. My low back pain was nil and I could actually bend over and touch my toes... incredible! This is the first review I have ever written as I am compelled to write about the experience at Escape Away Spa. 12 of my friends got together to celebrate my Birthday at the spa, we had the place to ourselves for 5 hours and had dinner catered to the spa. The spa is beautiful and serene and the services are exceptional! Every single one of my friends agreed that their services were the best they ever had. The Fountain of Youth and the Hot Stone massage, were my services and they were AMAZING! Some other ones that my friends raved about were the Turkish bath, Shiatsu, the Signature massage, the scalp massage and the manicure/pedicure. Thank you Boris and the staff for making this the best birthday experience for my girlfriends and I! SO... now as a return customer I can wholeheartedly say that Escape Away Spa is my new "guilty pleasure"! As an RN who provides professional skilled services each day, I want to thank Boris and his staff for their wonderfully skilled services. My first visit to the spa was less than a month ago for my daughter's private birthday party and I was in awe of the special treatment we all received. Having realized at that time the extent my own muscle tension I returned to target my tension sponges... the back and neck area as well as my feet with a repeat performance of an "Around the World" massage. Too fabulous for just a few words here yet again it was a winner! We are lucky to have an affordable opportunity to partake in what so many Europeans take for granted. Thanks again. I found your spa by chance but from the moment I walked in I could tell that you folks knew exactly what you are doing and more important, what people are looking for! If you want to relax - you will not find a better place. I received ESCAPE AWAY DELUXE PACKAGE as a Christmas present from my husband and spent 6 hours in this spa. It is very beautiful and looked like exactly on the pictures and stuff was very polite and professional. I had Mediterranean Massage which was unbelievable. I would recommend Sergey. more

I'm a frequent Spa goer (what girl doesn't like to be pampered) and I totally fell in love with this place. So tranquil and relaxing from the moment you walk in the door. The staff is incredibly sweet and accomodating. The decor is beautiful and warm....and the massage was AMAZING!! They have a HUGE variety of massages, facials, baths, waxes, etc, etc... I highly highly recommend this place if you're looking for an ultimate "getaway". And there's a Cold Stone Creamery downstairs ;) more

I organized my fiance's surprise birthday party at this spa. After reading some of the reviews here and other places, I decided to contact them. The people are fantastic! I spoke with the owner, Boris, 4 out of the 5 times I was there to ask questions and plan the event. He is very nice and willing to bend over backwards to make your event the best it can possibility be. We were able to get them to close the spa for 5 hours for our event, and when we went over the 5 hours, they told us to relax and dont worry about, at no extra cost! Boris also gave my fiance a flower and vase, along with some fantastic snacks, as part of her birthday. I personally did not get a massage (yet) but all 8 people who attended the party were more than satisfied with the quality of service they received. And even though several of them live an hour or more away, they plan on going back! Plus, not only is the services AND people great, the prices are more than reasonable. Do yourself a favor, just get yourself a small massage there and try it out, I guaranty you will be going back for more like everyone at the party plan to do. This was a huge surprise for me! Yes, I had read all reviews before choosing this place. But I have not expected even the have of that. I was wrong and I am really happy about that! The place is awesome! It is beautiful! It is unique! It is relaxing and enjoyable! The service is astonishing. My massage was amazing! The atmosphere is really soothing and splendid! I went to my sisters surprise birthday party here today. The spa was closed for us - and it was just wonderful. Now I am not a spa junkie by any means, but I have had a massage or two in the past. This was the MOST amazing experience EVER. I booked the around the world package and well there really are no words. It was truly like nothing I have even experienced in a great way. Please look into this spa. You can not find a better spa experience in Philly. It is tucked away with a group of shops above the Cold Spring Creamery, off Street Rd. in Feasterville. It is eloquently designed with Grecian style tiling, warm candle lighting, and gorgeous stained glass accents. It has a distinct European feel the moment you walk in the door. I have had both massages and body treatments. Both were amazing. I have never had a bad experience at this spa. I had to ask the staff what the ?key? was to such great massage therapists. Each therapist is trained in a special therapeutic technique which is unique to this spa. Only fully trained therapists work on clients. They care about the clients and it shows. One extremely great treatment is the Mediterranean Massage. It is conducted in a heated room where you are treated to hot oil, body scrub/exfoliation and massage. It is truly amazing. The amenities are great too. Robes are big and fluffy, changing areas have hair dryers, lotions, gels, etc. You can shower, change and be ready for a night out, right from the spa. The hours are amazing for those of us who work during the day. Evenings and weekends are normal hours for this amazing place. Please try. You will be very glad you found this place. more

My visit to Escape Away Spa was incredible. It was much more than I had anticipated as I have been to many spas and there is no comparison. The entire massage was so relaxing with candlelight, soft soothing music, fragrant aromas, just a beautiful setting. My therapist was sure to inquire if I was comfortable and whether the massage was gentle or intense as needed. She was completely in tune to my needs. This spa is a jewel by itself. Simply speaking, if you want to feel rejuvinated, try the body treatments at this spa! After being referred to it by a friend, we visited it a few times and every time the result was excellent.
