Not much to it 11/11/2007

I like Thai food - and I was told it was authentic. Well, maybe I wasn't ready for what I ate - I was not impressed. The duck in a coconut smelled like urine - nasty. The other food was very tasty and was presented well, but the experience wasn't there. Maybe there could be some paint on the walls, or dimmer lighting or the bar could be moved ... something need to be changed to make it more apealing. I went back for a second chance and was more disappointed the second time. Sorry - I don't see it as a place that people have to try. Pros: The service was good Cons: too bright, maybe too authentic and try painting more

Best Thai food ever. 5/11/2007

Oh how I miss this place. While attending SU, I went to this place almost every week (to eat there and to pick up the food) since found out the place. Pros: food, food, food, food Cons: can get very busy on weekends more

There are no bad Thai dishes, only bad choices. 3/27/2006

Thai food can be tricky, and it can vary from place to place so never assume it'll taste the way you think. I love the food at erawan and haven't found another restaurant that compares. The food is great and simple. I never feel sick like I do at some other places. Ask the server for a recomendation if you're not sure what to order. I like #41 , med. spicey. and don't forget to try the tapioca pudding with little corn bits. good luck Pros: great food, nice staff Cons: closes sunday more

Terrible Experience 9/7/2005

This restaurant is not recommended. I truly enjoy Thai food, and am very familiar with this type of cuisine. My meal was awful - something was certainly wrong with it. The server did not return at all to check on how we were enjoying the meal. At the end of the meal when I spoke with a server, she called the who would not 1) taste it (although it had not been touched other than my one bite) or 2) take it off of the bill because ""I shouldn't have ordered it."" more

Delicious 9/10/2002

The food at Erawan is delcious and was worth the wait on the busy night we went. The atmophere leaves something to be desired, but really, the food is more important and truly takes center stage here. more
