Seattle History buffs this is the place to get those hard to find and out of print books - right next to the latest stuff! We also spent a great deal of time going through their extensive collection of cookbooks (LOTS of local fare specialty books!) and their craft section. The service was excellent - they really know their stuff. We'll definitely become regulars here. (Oh! They also offer a frequent shopper discount... how cool is that?) more

I love having a used bookstore I can walk to in Ballard. Everyone I have dealt with at this store is friendly and knowledgable. I love dropping off books I no longer need, and picking up new ones, at no cost. I have a waiting list, for less popular books. Most of the paperbacks I have gotten there for $4. It is hard to beat it... more
