I recently moved close to Enrique's and you wont be disappointed. The Burritos are huge and the carne asada is spectacular. Service is fast and friendly and the prices are good. The homemade salsa is some of the best I have had. more

Simply the BEST for authentic Mexican food! WONDERFUL people too! 6/25/2007

My husband and I have been going to Enrique's in Bellflower, CA since it opened many years ago. We eat there nearly once a week (sometimes more!). We enjoy eating there or ordering take-out to eat at home. The people are absolutely great there! Some have known my husband and I by name for some time. The food is excellent! Nothing I've ever tried has disappointed, and I can say the same for my husband. I was vegetarian when we started going there, and now am vegan. Enrique's prepares my favorites to go along with my vegan lifestyle and for that I am thankful. Most already know how I like my favorites - now that is personal service! If you have not tried it please do! You will NOT be disappointed. Several friends I've introduced to Enrique's cannot stop talking about going back! That's also a great recommendation. TRY IT! Pros: Thumbs WAY UP!! GREAT FOOD! WONDERFUL SERVICE! :) :) :) Cons: Absolutely NONE (P.S.-If you have to ""find"" a parking space, trust me, it's worth it!) :) more

Pork Shank to Die For... 11/13/2002

...and also the Paella con Crema y Queso. This small storefront restaurant tucked away in the corner of a small shopping mall should be a Mecca for Mexican-style cuisine. Great food - have never had a bad meal here. Some of the best Spanish Rice I have ever had. Some unusual items on the regular menu like zucchini quesadillas and mushroom qusadillas. The Pork Shank is a special menu item and so are the Pork Chops - both not to be missed. If after the huge meal, you still have room ak for the Chocolate Créme Bruleé Pros: Pork Shank, Pork Shank, Choc. Créme Bruleé Cons: none, to, speak of more

great food, great people 6/25/2002

I have never done a review before but the quality and taste of the food here prompts me to write one about Enrique's. We have traveled extensively throughout Mexico and have always sought out the places where the ""local"" people eat out. In doing this, one gets an appreciation of the way the locals spend their hard earned money and these establishments really cater to the Mexican family and truly appreciate their clientel. Enrique's will show you this same appreciation. The food is outstanding, you will want to try everything on their Jalisco styled menu. I have only been to the new location, PCH & Loynes in Long Beach and the service is outstanding. I hear the deserts are great too, but i'm always too full to try them. They do serve beer & wine. You leave here feeling like Norm. When you go there you'll know what I mean. Cons: small parking lot more
