Built in 1929, this movie theater is beautifully ornate, featuring a domed ceiling painted with stars and clouds. The Majestic is the home of the San Antonio Symphony.

Built in 1940, with dramatic Egyptian Art Deco décor, to serve the needs of the East side, it had both a vaudeville stage and a movie screen. The Vaudeville Stage is still in use today bringing musicals and plays to life in San Antonio. Check website for current shows. more
