English Pools

If I could give zero stars, I would. English pool never keeps their appointments and are horrible when it comes to service. They speak nicely but you cannot trust the information they give you. If you have any where else to turn for pool installation and service, go there! more

The pool in the house where we are now was put in by English Pools and we have been in this house over 10 years. The filter has never broken, and the Polaris pump has had to be serviced, and the Polaris itself traded in, but that is the extent of it. I have gone "across the street" to have my polaris looked at a few times a few years ago and they never fixed the problem... and we went back to English. We needed a new liner for the pool, and I went to a company that put it in for less. The liner came out of the tracks, they fixed it, the liner fell back out from the tracks and they blamed us,( DON"T GO TO SUN POOLS THEY ARE A HUGE RIP OFF) they stopped answering my phone calls, and I went back to English. Mrs. English ALWAYS returns my phone calls, and they have fixed and will probably keep fixing the botched liner job that SUN POOLS did. This just goes to show you, you pay for what you get. My husband and I were so excited about getting a pool installed on our property especially after we spoke with the salesman from English Pools. Our conversation with him was the last good thing that happened in dealing with them. We signed the contract in April 2008 and were told that the pool would be ready in 1-1 1/2 weeks. The contract they gave us insured that they were paid in full well before the pool was finished. We were promised training on the new equipment once the pool was completed because we'd never had a pool before. Needless to say, once payment in full had been made we had to make call after call to get the pool completed. Then once the pool was complete we tried every thing we could think of to get our training. We called and called and called, we left messages, we begged, we threatened, all to no avail. We told them that we needed the pool finished prior to 6/7/08 but it didn't matter to them. Someone from their office finally called us on the morning of 6/7 more

English Pools is a very helpful place to go for all your swimming pool needs. I always take them water samples of our pool to help us make the chemicals correct. We only use Baquacil and they always have that in stock. I do recommend them. more
