Really disappointing 12/27/2018

The sales rep came to our house the day after we scheduled an appt. He was great-- courteous and flexible. He assured us that they could install carpets right away. Installers never showed up. I called the company.The automated option to get a call back wasn't working. I was on hold with Empire's 800 number for 29 min and got disconnected within 30 seconds of the talking to an agent. more

Horrible Service 8/25/2018

Appointment was schedule and the installers were a No Show with no phone call. Salesman verified that the stock as available at the time we scheduled the appointment. Supposedly the materials were not in stock. Took a day off work. When I called to complain they said they would cancel the order with out trying to remedy the situation. I'd pay more for better service. more

Run Do not use this company... Horrible customer service 4/19/2018

I called the TV ad, a sales rep came out. Sold us carpet. I bought. Carpet layer shows up a week later with the wrong color carpet. I called the rep and he verified the color gray. he confirmed. the customer service said we will give you 25.00 off and bring the right color the next day. Sure enough again 2nd day in a row after having our bedroom tore apart, they show up with a beige color carpet. When I called customer service, I was hung up on twice. I went to cancel and it seems the company does not care. the saga continues and still no carpet more

Run! Do not get carpet here! 3/29/2018

They destroyed the walls and molding of our newly painted hallway. The installation was don't incorrectly and just try and get them on the phone or to return a call... what a joke. They are the worst more

Frightenly Unprofessional 9/29/2005

Never ever buy carpets from these people. To start with, the carpets are horrible quality. We bought their "top of the line" for $5000 and they were trashed in 6 months. We had a professional inspector in and he said they looked 10 years old. We were just two people and no pets. Then, Empire doesn't install the carpets. They hire out people who don't speak any English to come in and do a terrible job of laying the carpet. So bad in fact that the carpet came up and caused a serious accident. Let's just say they were sued.Steer clear! more

THEY SENT 3 GUYS TO RIP OUT AND INSTALL THE CARPETING IN 3 ROOMS. ONCE WE MOVED THE FURNATURE OUT,THE GUYS WERE QUICK TO RIP OUT THE OLD CARPETING AND INSTALL NEW, ONLY TOOK THEM A COUPLE OF HOURS AND SEEMED VERY FAST. THE ONLY SUGGESTION I WOULD MAKE IS HAVE YOUR FURNATURE MOVED BEFORE THEY GET THERE SO THEY ARE NOT STANDING AROUND WAITING. WOULD HAVE BEEN MUCH FASTER THEN IT WAS IF WE HAD KNOWN THAT IN ADVANCE more
