This paritcular Hyundai dealership is the worse..I send in my via tow because it completely died on me..I call them and speak to Karina regarding the situation with my car she did explain to me that my car would be last in line because their were cars with appts ahead of me which I understood and up to that point everything was smooth then the run around happens...I get a call from Connie(service advisor) stating that my car did get there and they would be diagnosing the car that day in order to determine t he problem...Hours go by and I hear nothing from Connie so I decided to call and spoke to Karina again..I asked what was the status on the car Karina then puts me on hold to get Connie, Karina comes back and says Connie is with a customer and couldn't come to the phone...I then explained to Karina I was getting a ride from work and I wanted to be sure that I would not be stranded at the dealership or should I have my ride take me home and call later...Karina says come in and speak to Connie regarding the car you will not be stranded...Connie would be able to accomdate me...I'm thinking she would get me a loaner to get back and forth to work(I live in the Bronx and work in White Plains,NY)...I get there and they provide no assistance what so ever my car wasn't even looked all day and they had no attention of giving me a loaner for transportation. In fact the manager came over and said he had no loaner available meanwhile I saw on in the parking lot in which he gave a lame excuse was already promised to someone else...then he sugguested he would put me in a taxi home...which I did not no he expected me to pay for($31) when I never asked for a taxi, The cab driver nor I was aware of the game they were playing Connie spoke to the cab an d told him I would pay for the cab ride home (BX) and I should bring them the receipt for reimbursement...after alot of back and forth they finally paid the driver...the next day they diagnosed my car and automatic blamed the battery after they charged the battery several times and realized that the battery was losing power both my husband and father had Connie on the phone telling her to look beyond the battery to the brake switch(which was faulty on the car and caused my battery to Knonk out) they finally replaced the part which was covered by warrnaty but the battery was not and I had to pay $219...battery was $158 and labor was $31 ironically the same price of the cab ride the night before...I think I ended up paying the cab ride anyway...It was the faulty part in the car which killed my battery life I don't think I should have been charged for the battery...One more battle I have to fight with Hyundai....STAY AWAY FOR THIS DEALERSHIP!!!! more
