Empire Beauty Schools - Littleton (Greater Denver) formerly Artistic Beauty College

I am not writing this review out if anger, I am simply writing it to prevent future mistakes like I did. When I started cosmology school I was excited and enthusiastic. Empire puts on a dog and pony show when you first sign up, but after about a month of being there I quickly realized how unprofessional they really are. I consistently had things stolen like my cell phone and my supplies. The pre salon teacher was in and out of the room every day leaving the students to do book work for five days a week six hours a day. I witnessed cheating on a test and when I told the director and the teacher about it they didn't do anything and in fact they became very stand offish and had an attitude. I was the subject of bullying and I constantly got harassed for my religious decisions. The instructors were always talking about inappropriate subjects, cussing, and talking about other students. The students are always talking about how many guys they have slept with at one time. The pre salon teachers allowed the students to play music where they are droppng the f bomb every other word. When I notified the director that I needed to withdraw because of some family matters she basically accused me of lying but said to come in the next morning to sign paper work, but when I went in the next day she was not there and was not going to be there all day. more

I have always been the greatest advocate of using student stylists to get a good salon services at a reasonable price, but my recent visit with the Littleton CO location left me feeling as if it was my fault they failed to provide a senior student stylist (as requested) and to propery schedule an appropriate amount of time to render the services I had scheduled for a month in advance. I took every necessary precaution in scheduling my appointment, expressing my need for a specific service and was informed by their receptional staff that there would be no issues. My request was within their ability to meet. Instead, I was treated as an inconvenience to the point they acted surprised by my negative reaction to their treatment. Unforgiveable. Fortunately, the other school, in Lakewood, has far better customer service. My hair was done beautifully there and my review for their location is forthcoming. As for Littleton, I would not recommend it unless you enjoy being treated as an inconvenient afterthought. more
