I was fighting with this dentist office for almost 10 month… they decided that it’s too much work to fulfill requirements of my insurance and they haven’t submit appropriate papers and my insurance of course didn’t pay them. They were harassing me for 4 month even thought I explain there person, who suppose to take care of paperwork… I believe Stephaney… so she has never call me back and refused to do anything at all and to talk to me. I was calling many times… maybe 15 or more… so I did all the work myself and talk to my insurance and actually its done… so I’m calling them right now and the same thing – they busy and don’t want to talk to me at all…. So they were harassing me demanding 500$ and when I resolved everything they now owe me 50$ instead. But they refused not even return me money but even talk to me. Cons: real rip off more

I was hesitant to go here after the reviews I read. But I thought ""Nah, that's probably just people who had a random bad experience."" Wrong... I went in for a routine cleaning and exam. No real problems to report. Well, little did I know! I was then informed they ""needed"" to schedule 2-4 more appointments so they could replace all my fillings and give me several crowns! As if that wasn't bad enough, the hygienist went so crazy with the water spray it was literally dripping off the back of my head onto the floor. I won't be back, and wouldn't send anyone here. You're better off with cavities. Pros: Location, Easy to schedule Cons: May be involved in insurance fraud more

They WILL NOT tell you how much anything will cost until it is done. Even when said, ""don't do anything that isn't covered."" they still did. Was even double billed! Dentest who have worked there have even said they are shady. Please, Please, Please think twice. Unless you are going to die if you dont get your tooth fixed ,and you tryed to remove it yourself,and there is no other dentist within 100 miles, then go to them. more

Emmert was the only one that would help me. Dr. Carnevali\r was a gem, he saw me right away, got me out of pain and sent me on my way and even called me at home\r on Sunday to see how I was. This was my most positive dental experience ever. The whole staff was friendly,\r caring and genuinely concerned about me. If you are ever in a bind for a dentist, I'm sure these guys will help you out! This is the first time that I have ever done anything like this, but Dr. Carnevali was so wonderful, I wanted to let everyone know. I sent my boss there last week and she was blown away as well.\r Thanks for taking such good care of me. Pros: hours were convenient, sat. plus 4 nights a week Cons: I didn't find them sooner more

I chose this dentist because of the convenient location. After having a cavity filled by Emmert Dental, my teeth became very sensitive. Less than a year later, the filling has become loose, causing an abscess and it is hitting a nerve. I now need a root canal to fix the horrible job Emmert Dental did. more

Because I do not have dental insurance, I have been looking for a dentist practice that would be reasonable. I saw an ad for a special with Emmert and thought it would be a good thing to try (exam, cleaning and x-rays for $50). Two days before my visit though I woke up with a very sore tooth and thought I had a root canal problem. I called Emmert and they said I could come over and have an x-ray and an exam to check out what the problem may be. The dentist looked at the x-ray and probed a couple of my teeth and determined that i would need a large filling and may after getting it open determine whether or not I would need further work like a crown, etc. I made an appt for the next week for a filling and then the receptionist gave me the bill for the short exam and x-ray - $147.00!!!! I could have fallen over but what could I do. I mentioned that I never expected it to be that much - no response - so I cancelled the appt for the filling and decided to call my usual dentist who I had thought up to then was high. He would have charged me something like $80 for the exam and x-ray. I would NEVER ever recommend Emmert Dentists and I think they are very shady in the way they don't tell you up front what your appt is going to cost, even though they say they will always inform you.\r \r Go somewhere else! This was the Robinson Township office but I'm sure the practice is the same at the other offices. more
