I stopped by Emma's Back Porch after first seeing some of her beautiful items on display at the new R.I. Antiques Mall in Pawtucket. Her store exceeded all of my expectations, both in the quality and condition of her pieces, as well as the fairness of her prices, which is of course, quite subjective. The store is well layed out, clean, warm and organized, thousands of items, but not cluttered in the least. The ambient lighting was very good, as well as several strategically placed spotlights , making the ""examination process"" nearly effortless. I've been in a few antique stores in the past, where you needed to bring your own flashlight in order to inspect the merchandise. The owner (we'll call her Emma) is friendly, knowledgeable and very passionate about her craft. A pleasure to do business with. Highly recommended! regards, wpod. PS.- some cigarette smokers are clueless as to how ""stinky"" they become .
Pros: well lit,friendly atmosphere
Cons: park just around the corner, it's much easier.
