They overcharged my credit card by $2 even though I wrote out the final total. When I called in to politely resolve the issue they offered to let me come in and get the overcharge refunded. I said this wouldn't work because I live so far away that I wouldn't make any money driving in to pick it up. They then rudely asked me if I was ""trying to make money off them"". Apparently they couldn't understand the fact that driving 50 miles round trip over 2 hours to pick up $2 does not make financial sense, and instead assumed I was attempting to form an elaborate con artist attack over the phone to get a measly $2 back from a $50+ meal that I paid them for in person. When I asked to be contacted by a manager they never called me back. In over fifty days. Unless you like having your money stolen from you and being treated like a thief and ignored for pointing it out, I'd suggest taking your business elsewhere. more

They use peanut oil in their square pizzas and on their focaccia bread! my daughter had a bad allergic reaction to the focaccia bread. there is no signage and nothing written on the menu. if you or your kids have peanut allergies, beware! more

Very dissapointed...they've gone downhill. I have been going to Emilio's for over 20 years and I always tell everyone its my favorite pizza on LI. However, I was living in New England for 3 years and I've come back and the pizza has been unacceptable each time I have gone there. First time I got my former fav the Marinara slice. The dough was RAW and inedible. 2nd visit back I got Sicilian which used to be great. This time again the dough was severely undercooked and inedible and the sauce was dry. I stayed away for months but then recently I figured I'd give them one more shot. My 3rd trip back I got a plain slice, when I opened the box when I got home, the slice was small enough to fill a cavity (it was literally Half a normal size slice). For $2.50/.25 a slice (with no toppings) they have some nerve skimping, that is NO WAY to run a business. To top it off, the new workers behind the counter are unfriendly and barely speak English.\r \r They've just lost a former loyal customer and I will tell all my friends and family to Stay Away until Emilio's relearns to value its customers and deliver a quality product. I suggest people try out Branchanelli's in Hauppauge, same family, better pizza. Also CIro's in Hauppauge, friendly people, big tasty slices. more

I have been to many pizza places both in NC [where I now live] and on LI [where I grew up]. Emilio's has by far the BEST pizza I have ever had. The sauce is superb and very flavorful and they put on just the right amount of cheese without overpowering the pie. The crust even has a great flavor. Unfortunately I came upon this place literally the same week I was moving. The only downside to this restaurant is the space. Your packed in like a sardine so if you are claustrophobic at all this is not the place for you to EAT-IN, GET TAKE OUT. The other thing that's annoying is the service was kinda of lax but everything was made up for by the taste of the pizza. Definitely worth the annoyances. Pros: PIZZA PIZZA PIZZA YUM!!! Been here twice to eat in (many times for a slice, or take out). The food is of the highest quality and very good all the time. However, the service was terrible. We received both our appetizers and our entrees cool. The first time we asked that our food be reheated, the second time we were with a large group and didn't want to make a scene. more

The BEST Sicilian we have EVER had!! Sauce is well cooked, perfect crust....... We have moved to VA, but make it a point to visit every time we go to LI!!! Keep makin' the BEST pie!! :) Pros: consitent, sauce, service Cons: parking, traffic more
