BAM! 2/24/2003

Food is of course awesome, check out that Double Cut Pork Chop with the Green Mole Sauce or the Rack of Lamb. Executive Chef Chris Wilson is still doing a great job overseeing this N.O. institution, open since 1990. And the Hostess Cherie Bourgeois is a charming and wonderful hostess at the reception desk!!!! a great find 2/8/2003

After years of watching Emeril on TV, my husband wanted to celebrate our anniversary by eating at one of Emeril's resteraunts. I looked on the internet and found Emeril's. The service was beyond our expectations. The food was very good and the appetizers and main course were all timed to perfection. I thouroughly enjoyed our visit and plan to go back. Siberia??? 12/5/2002

Very put off when we were seated in this restaurant's ""Siberia"" - so far from the action as to be in another restaurant!! We assumed it was because we were out-of-towners (New York) or not regulars, or late from being in traffic from one of the seemingly endless footbal games (Bayou classic), but we were not happy! Request main dining room - food was very good though, portions are very generous and tasty - but the wine list was top heavy - very few bottles under 3 figures!! Our waiter was kind and pleasant, but the experience was dulled by being so far out of the ""scene"" - guess that's where they put newcomers! STUFFED! 10/8/2002

I ate at Emeril's on October 5th, 2002. Everyone in my party enjoyed their meals and thought the amount of food was more than sufficient! Yes, it was costly but you walked (or waddled) out of there very very full and the quality of the food was absolutely first rate. The martinis were wonderful, our waiter Alfredo was willing to bend over backwards for us. We will again visit Emeril's on our next trip to New Orleans! more

Wow, simply exellent food, service and atmosphere. You cannot even imagine how good the food is in taste and appearance. The service is EXCELLENT, which is a big part of what you are paying for. It is pricey, but most places that serve this type of food and treat you like Royalty, are. A dining delight in every way. Mind Blowing! 6/24/2002

Made reservations months in advance, like the other review were never told of a dress code, but there certainly is one. We were seated just off the bar area and had an absolutely wonderful meal. We chose the degustation menu for the evening, and I would highly recommend it to everyone! Our server Tim, was wonderful, very knowledgeable about everything on the menu and the wine list. Emeril's was definately the place to go in New Orleans! Pros: Food, Service Cons: not stating dresscode more
