R.I.P. puppy 3/30/2007

my dog got really sick, and no one still really knows why. Could have been from that bad dog food thing going on or she ate some type of poison. Anyway it was late at night so we took our dog to this emergency vet. They were nice and tried to help as much as possible. The Vet wasn't sure what was going on with the dog. She was there over the weekend and we had to go pick her up on Monday morning. However, she wasn't well enough to go home. We had to take her to another vet. To make a long story short, the emergency Vet recommended a local Vet down the street. The Vet even met us over at the other clinic to see how the dog was doing. In the end we had to put our puppy to sleep, but they were all really nice and helpful. We did have to spend a lot of money to only end up putting our dog to sleep and not finding out what was wrong with her, but the vet was very sympathetic and i was very pleased. I guess it depends which Dr. you get when you go, but this man seemed as if he really loved a more

very judgemental 1/21/2007

i was concerned for my animal called to ask question her normal vet was closed the receptionist picked up didnt even bother to ask what was going on with the animal first said to me is "it" fixed why i ask you need to do it beacause if your not a breeder you better not an if she happens to breed with one you better find a breeder with black male who has all his stuff taken care of or shes going to get a disease she has had all her vaccines thank you i said anyways i say to her what does your questions and comments have to do with my emergency absolutely nothing i say to the obviously judgemental and blinded by her own predjuduce receptionist i say that is how you are dealing with things but i am dealing with my pet the way i see fit right now an i did not call for a life lesson not satisfied with my comment to her remarks she decides to say you better because it is the law since when i say she says since last week in fact a law was passed in a while ago trying to more widely inforce more

terrible experience!!!!!!!! wait a few more!!!!!!!!!! 12/11/2006

Our dog was holding her tail oddly when we came home from work one night. Her regular Vet was already closed so we headed down to San Gabriel Valley emergency clinic. \r Wow bAAAAAAAAAD IDEA! Bad!\r Dr. Tsugawa hadnt even touched our dog yet { hadnt even shut the door to the examination room } and she was already saying that our dog was "wild" and would have to be sedated for xrays because her tail was broken. First of all I admit my dog is super friendly even when hurt but geez the Dr. was acting as if she was going to get bitten. Something our girl would not do. Something she ought to be able to guess working with animals everyday. I have in the past and I could tell....you develop a sense.\r Then, before even examining her tail or explaining to us what was going on she began insisting upon sedation again and x-rays { again keep in mind BEFORE fully examining the dog or explaining what she was finding or costs} Stating \r " Ok so were going to go sedate her and take x rays." \r Something more

very rude 9/24/2005

My poor poor doggy! She had a life threatening experience and we were very worried and it was extremely late at night so we took her to Emergency pet clinic -- only place that was opened. As soon as we took her in, this extremely rude Filipino veterinarian was very apathetic and she seemed annoyed and didnt like animals. She really should not have chosen this profession in that case. The male assistant seemed nicer! Looking back if I had known I would have driven further out to another emergency clinic. In addition, the cost was nearly $1000. I would NOT NOT NOT recommend this clinic to anyone. STAY AWAY PROS: none really CONS: just about everything --- especially the prices and service more
