Really like Dr. Minyard and all the staff! I was warmly greeted, and was taken back to the x-ray/exam area as soon as I had finished the intake paperwork. The staff were very courteous and knowledgeable, and it was very easy to establish my treatment plan. I did not feel like I was being ""sold"" on additional treatment that I did not need. more

I went in to see Dr. Minyard for an emergency visit for what I thought could be mouth cancer. I was so relieved to find out it was NOT mouth cancer. Instead it was from an abscessed tooth that needed to either have a root canal and a crown - which I cannot afford - or be pulled. I am financially strapped right now and felt my options were limited for what I could afford. Dr. Minyard and his staff pulled together and found someone who could pull the tooth at a price I could afford that was on my dental insurance. They didn't have to do that but that is the kind of dental professionals they are. They will go above and beyond to get you the care you need. Love that office!!! more

I have been a customer of Embassy Dental for two years now. I find Dr. Minyard to be very caring and genuinely concerned about his patients. I have had a unique situation where I am unable to get all the dental treatments I need due to lack of money. Dr. Minyard and his staff have gone out of their way to help me in this situation by waiving fees and even finding a dentist in my network that can do the work for what I CAN afford. To me, that is genuine customer service and sincere desire to look after their patients. There is no other dentist in town that I will go to now except Dr. Minyard and Embassy Dental. more

These people are RIPOFFS. Do not go here. I was billed for a visit I t made FIVE years ago. When I asked for proof this was a valid bill they refused and are holding my credit report hostage to try to FORCE me to pay for their mistakes. I quit going five years ago because they were trying to tell me I needed extensive work done every time I went. Once I changed dentists the new dentist found NONE of the problems they claimed I had. more

I went for an exam and cleaning. I had x-rays and a brief exam, but no cleaning. I was told that I needed to have extensive dental procedures performed and given a very expensive treatment plan. Upon informing them that I could not afford the entire list right away, I was told I had to fulfill their expensive treatment plan before I have a cleaning. (Expensive meaning $8,000.00 and up.) Again explaining that it would need to be fullfilled in moderation but the cleaning still needs to be done, they disagreed. They wouldn't allow me to schedule an appointment after that wiothout speaking to the office manager, who never returned any of my 5 messages left on her voice mail. At my daughters first appointment, I was told, by Dr. Minyard, ""That is the standard procedure for this office."" A second & third opinion verified the work recomended by Embassy was unnecessary & over priced. I now see Dr. Nicholson at Cosmetic Dentistry of Murfreesboro and have had nothing short of a wonderful experience. Pros: nice carpet Cons: service, staff, ethics, bedside manner, policies & procedures. more
