Obviously, I didn't purchase that vehicle. And then, on the car I did eventually purchase, you discovered that it needed brake work, which the dealer is fixing at no charge to me - thanks to you guys! Great job!! more

Generally fine, but... 12/1/2016

...they returned our always-new-smelling car stinking of cigarette smoke, and we're not happy about that. Otherwise, this visit was fine. I was greeted enthusiastically by John Nicastro, the owner, who went out of his way to express his gratitude for the business. Even though the shop was busy, they handled our work efficiently. This visit was prompted by a Check Engine eruption of dashboard lights that was traced to a failed air/fuel ratio sensor. The replacement part (Denso 234-9050) was billed at $284.40 and replaced at the cost of a full hour's service (in addition to the diagnostic time); both costs seem too high for this part/service. The part can be bought for $115 on Amazon, and while I fully expect a part like this to cost more from a local source, delivered on demand, a 2.5x increase seems excessive. This call also included a 60,000 mile service and rebuilding the brakes, both of which were completed well and at a reasonable cost. more

in for 220,000 check up--ended up doing breaks all around 11/10/2016

We use Elmers for both of our Priuses and love them. We are always treated kindly, very timely (almost always next day service--pretty remarkable), and, we think, very fairly. In addition, I never feel talked down to or condescended to, which I have felt at other garages. Highly, highly recommend them! more

It feels so good to have a mechanic who will be straightforward with you and give you good advice, especially when looking for a new (used) car, always a stressful prospect for a guy like me who knows little to nothing about cars. I went in for an oil change and some nasty sounds in the front end - they diagnosed the problem in an hour and was fixed in a couple of hours, called me first with a quote - spoke directly to the mechanic - I feel confident my truck is running 100% when these guys are done with it more

Superb service 8/10/2016

Once again the team at Elmer's went above and beyond to provide excellent customer service. I was not sure what was wrong with my car but I knew it needed some work. They figured it out, communicated with me right away, completed the work in a timely manner and even double checked the price of parts when they noticed the price seemed high, saving me almost $400. I always feel that they are "on my side" and would not recommend any repair unless it is truly needed. As someone who knows very little about cars, this is, of course, very important to me. more
