Great fast service, used their buisness for years! 12/6/2010

My father, an automechanic, myself, and my brothers have used Ellis Battery for years now. While the car batteries we buy are the reconditioned ones, they last for at least a year and a half to two years, and for ~ $40 installed, is a heck of a deal. They do have at least a 1-year warrantee for these types of batteries. I highly recommend their service and would CONTINUE to return even if the guy at the desk was a little rude or something (never happened to us!) - the deal they offer is still better than paying $100+ at the new car dealer repair places. more

GREAT SERVICE 9/24/2009

My wife was visiting our daughter in St Louis when her battery went dead. I was at home 100 miles away so I called Ellis Battery and told them the problem. When my wife arrived at Ellis they greeted her by name, had a battery ready, and completed the replacement in 15 minutes. This was great customer service at a reasonable price. Ellis Battery Specialist is non professional 9/17/2009

Had them rebuild (2) dewalt 18V battery packs for me.\r \r Took them back the next day with some concerns about them having a lighter weight,and the fact that you could feel and hear the new battery cells rattling around in the pack.\r \r Instead of immediately trying to discern my concerns and reassure me about the quality of the rebuild ,the counter man spent his time being arguementative and basically called me a liar in a "politically correct " kind of way by saying he didnt believe me.\r \r As a paying customer i got no respect when i came back to complain and ask questions about a product they sold me.\r \r If he had taken 30 seconds to try and alay my reservations by pointing out how and why i would have no probleem he instead chose to be confrontational.\r \r Luckily someone with a better sense of customer service came out and solved the situation.\r \r However ,it was too late....\r \r The whole incident left a bad taste in my mouth,and apparently they have no interest in training their pe more

Ellis Battery in Poplar Bluff 3/14/2009

I went to the Ellis Battery that just opened in Poplar Bluff and not only did they stand behind their product that I bought from the Arnold store but I bought other items as well. Shows the quality of detail and attention I received as I was passing through Poplar Bluff!\r What a great place...and batteries for darn near anything as far as I could tell! more

great service 9/19/2005

I always go here to get batteries for my boat. The staff is always very friendly and know their products. Their prices are the lowest that I've found out there. I would highly recommend this place to anyone!! Great service! more
