My son is 12 years old and is what I like to call a "Hair Snob" - his hair has to be just right. Ellen sat with him the first time she cut his hair and talked to him about what he wanted and why he wanted it that way. They talked about new styles and what he wanted his hair to look like in the future. She listened to him very closely and cut his hair EXACTLY as he wanted it to be - with a little of moms requirements as well. It was the first time we left a hair cut with him being happy about it. The first time I went in to see Ellen, she fixed what my last haircut had done wrong. My hair was not cut very evenly, she fixed that. Going in to see Ellen is a great experience. When you go in it is very relaxing with a hair wash and head massage before your cut. She is always very friendly and want to make sure you are truly happy with your cut. She also always sends out thank you cards to me after every time I go in for a hair cut. I know she is very appreciative for my business and I love going to her for my cuts. I've gone in to see Ellen many times now and will continue to do so! Pros: Great atmosphere and terrific staff Cons: NONE! more

I went to Ellen at Shear Sense for a CUT, COLOR, and MAJOR HELP!!! I had a rainbow of colors and wanted it to look professional and elegant. It looked like a ragged mess with chuncks of color. She did a CORRECTIVE color. My hair was distroyed by the highest end salons in town. I had paid hundred of dollars so far trying to get this right, and finally I have someone I can trust!!! And this was my last hope before my hair fell out of my head! SERIOUSLY! As far as the cut - it turned out beautiful! My hair looks elegant, stong, in good shape and just a gorgeous shape. I have very fine hair! And it looks bouncy and chick! She listened and was very observant! She helped me with exactly what I wanted and more! SO ALL I CAN SAY IS - ELLEN - HIGHLY RECCOMENDED! 10 stars out of 10! Pros: WONDERFUL PERSON! GREAT price, Lovely to talk to, listens, trust worthy, honest, and great tips for hair care!
