Elgin's Fine Jewelry

I got married 7 years ago and my husband was a prior customer of Elgin's. We have been buying from Elgin's on a regular basis- every piece of fine jewelry that I have was purchased from Richard and his staff. They are the most professional, classy and helpful individuals I have ever dealt with. I especially enjoy dealing with Ms. Barbara because I will drop by there periodically and see what new pieces they have and make a "wish list" for my husband for upcoming holidays and she always calls him immediately and I never really know what I will be getting. I would highly recommend and have anyone to go visit their new store(which is wonderful and a great location) before purchasing anywhere else. They are quite reasonable but the service exceeds anything else! more

Recently, I decided to "pop the question" to my girlfriend of several years. I shopped around town for a few weeks and ultimatley got her ring from Elgin's. I got a great deal on a beautiful ring and the service I recieved was second to none. In this day of big box stores and faceless corporations, it is nice to know that there is still a place where customer service is number one. I'll be telling my buddies to go there and nowhere else as they, too will soon be taking the plunge! more

These guys are supposed to be the classy, professional guys about town. Went to have my engagement ring sized (purchased from them) and was hit me with a surprise $32.00 charge. This wasn't really made clear to my fiance (who bought the ring) so he didn't know about it either. The saleman then gave me this Deputy Dog look and said that he would pay for it out of his own pocket......it kind of detracted from the whole getting engaged experience. more

I have to admit that Richard Elgin is a salesman.I went in his store to buy a 19.95 chain (he had one), and ended up buying $45K worth of stuff "WE" thought my wife should have.He tried to sell me his car but I really didn't need one. Then he tried to get me to take his wife out for lunch so he wouldn't have to buy it.His service was real good, he had FREE water, and the cookieswere "on sale" 2 for 1. more
