Dr. Daniel S. Yachter was raised in Florida. He received his Bachelor of Science degree in Nutritional Sciences from the University of Gainesville. He completed his studies in chiropractic medicine at Life University in Marietta, Georgia. Dr. Yachter decided to become a chiropractor after seeing chiropractic care heal his father’s crippling migraine headaches.
The chiropractic philosophy, that healing can occur from within without drugs, surgery, or harmful side effects, appealed to Dr. Dan. After graduating from Life University with honors, he was invited to perform his internship at Lerner Family Chiropractic Center in Kissimmee Florida.
The internship was a wonderful opportunity for Dr. Dan. While working in the largest chiropractic clinic in the United States, he observed and participated in the care of 1,000 to 1,500 patients each week. This experience allowed him to learn more quickly than most chiropractic interns, who care for 100 patients each week. Dr. Dan he received extensive training, primarily in the area of sports performance and the care of athletes. Additionally, he received advanced training in the area of family and maternity care, neonatal care, pediatrics, radiology, geriatrics, occupational and auto accident injuries, spinal reconstructive care, nutritional counseling, and chronic and difficult cases. Dr. Dan had the opportunity to work with Dr. Ben Lerner, who served as team doctor for two Olympic wrestling teams.
During his internship, Dr. Dan was also active in his community. He conducted work injury prevention and ergonomic evaluations for several local businesses. He also provided complimentary care to high school athletes. Dr. Dan organized several charity events.
After his internship, Dr. Dan became clinic director of Lerner Family Chiropractic Centers at World Gym in St. Cloud, Florida. In four months, Dr. Dan quadrupled the practice, making it one of the largest solo practices in the country.
