Mediocre at best 4/10/2008

Ate there once, will never go back. They were out of the appetizer we wanted, foisted another one on us that was not very good. Food was just okay, service below average. more

Great After shopping drink spot 11/20/2006

I love this place! I always have a great time here. The drinks are wonderful, and the food selection is vast- there is something for everyone. If it's crowded slip into the bar area, and there are usually tables there where you can just seat yourself. Pros: fun, good food Cons: crowded sometimes more

I really love, love, love this place!! 10/8/2006

I recently moved to CA from the Midwest and was really looking for a great place to eat that's also affordable. I just love the Elephant Bar... everything I've had from there has been great although I really enjoy their asian dishes - kung pau chicken, cashew chicken, thai salad. Very affordable and many items to choose from!! Pros: Great food at reasonable prices! Cons: Sometimes there's a bit of a wait - very busy! more

Great place to go with friends or a date. The wait staff is friendly and worth being served by. The food is delicious and fulfilling, including their exotic drinks both alcoholic and non alcoholic. Atmosphere is loud and fills up quickly, but it's spacy enough to have some privacy. The food and drinks are decently priced. Only problem was the appetizer proportion. They give you enough for one person only, so you'd have to order more than one. Pros: service, atmosphere, food Cons: appetizer proportions, loud, busy more

Elephant Sized Cravings 8/5/2005

Yes, this is a chain restaurant and yes it can get crowded and loud but nothing beats the smell when you walk into this place. I haven't had anything bad at The Elephant Bar but what keeps me coming back time and again is the Kona BBQ ribs and the tender, slightly spicy calamari! Delish! Pros: Ribs, Calamari, Elephants! Cons: Can get crowded, loud, wait at peak hours more

Great food, service! Noisy but fun plac 8/21/2002

Great food. I've never had anything there that wasn't delicious. I especially love their fresh flown in from the ocean Salmon (not farm raised). Appetizers and drinks are great. Service is great. It's a bit noisy if you want to carry on a conversation, but if you want a great variety of food and good service at a pretty reasonable price this is a great place for everything-from burgers and salads to salmon, fancy appetizers and fancy drinks. Super Shrimp! 7/23/2002

Very loud but fun atmosphere. Service is prompt and engaging. Food is incredible! I had a fried shrimp dish with spicy dipping sauce and it was great! The drinks are pricey but the mixed drinks are very good and they don't hold back on the alcohol content. Pros: Great Food, Lots of fun Cons: Crowded, expensive more
