are handled here. wouldn't trust anyone else with my dental care. the dentists all have such gentle hands and i swear i never even know when they give me a shot. which is a huge deal for a trypanophobic like me. more

Never before did I have such a great experience at the dentist. Usually I am running towards the hills when I hear the words dental exam, but going to Eldridge takes away all my anxiety. more

And i can be a pretty big baby when it comes to dental work so the fact that they relaxed me enough to make it through these was huge. Highly recommend them. Very friendly staff. more

Sorta hard to come by now, but I found the right place in Eldridge. They mean business and are very dedicated to all of their patients. You can just tell by how they treat you how much they care--it's so nice. more

No joke. Always find any issues going on in my mouth early so that they don't turn into anything serious. Really personable, good about having to do installment payments. Great all around. more

started going here when i was in college and just stuck with it after i graduated. good people work here and good work is done. they definitely know how to help me with all the cavities! lol. more

had my fair share of dental horror experiences so i was more than glad to finally find such a reliable and kind dental office. every visit is fairly quick, unless i'm getting a cavity filled or something more involved. but even then, they work so fast! more

not realy sure whats up with all the bad reviews but ive always had good times at this office. the staff always remembers me and i never have a problem getting an appointment. oh and the docs are realy funny to! more

really good experience here. they were super patient with me as i am very afraid of anything dental related and even joked with me to help calm my nerves. i was in and out of there in no time (thank god) and had no trouble rscheduling a follow-up more

i brought my kids here..never again! they didnt have patience for my 6yr olds apprehension,and came at him with a needle and no explanation .they scared the heck out of him! they ""cleaned"" my daughters teeth and left two circles of white on front teeth,all teeth were not cleaned..and their attitude is very nasty!! phone manner as well..do not go here they also speak russian in front of you and rush through your appointment ..God forbid your in pain,they tell you to reschedule!!! Really this place has got to be one of the worst in staten island!!!! more

Never had one complaint about this place. For the most part I've only been to them for general dentistry but earlier this year I had veneers put in. They look fabulous and I could not be happier. It is nice to be able to go to one office for both general and cosmetic visits. more

I really really hate going to the dentist mostly because i've had some pretty awful experiences at different offices...but i finally overcame my dental fears at eldridge. The staff is very funny and personable. They work really fast so youre not stuck in that chair for too long. more

This is basically a copy of a letter that I wrote to the medical board that resulted in Dr. Blechman being fined and put on probation.\r \r I went to a scheduled appointment at Eldridge dental care which is located on 1432 Forest Avenue. This was the first time that I had visited a dentist in 6 years. When I was led to the examination room, the hygienist asked me if I had been experiencing any pain or discomfort. When I told her that I had not, she left the room and I waited for several minutes. Dr. Blechman came in and introduced himself. He turned on the examination light and instructed me to open my mouth. He used a long tool with a mirror to look at my teeth and gums for approximately 30 seconds. He then left the room after telling me that the hygienist would be coming in to clean my teeth. The hygienist came in and informed me that she was going to polish my teeth. For the next 3 minutes, she brushed my teeth with an instrument that felt very similar to an ordinary electric toothbrush. After she finished, she removed my smock and told me that we were finished. I asked her how we could be finished because X-rays were not taken. She told me that if I had any questions I should speak with the dentist.\r \r The dentist happened to be standing in the lobby and when I asked him why I was not given X-rays he said that X-rays were only given if there was some sort of problem. I would like to make it clear that at no time did either the dentist or the hygienist scrape my teeth or gums, nor did they attempt to probe my teeth for cavities. \r \r Approximately 2 weeks later, I visited a different dentist and paid out of pocket. After a very thorough cleaning and X-rays, I was informed that my gums were severely inflamed and that I had 2 cavities, one of which was very large.\r \r If I had not gone to a second dentist whom I knew to be competent, my two cavities would have gone untreated. This undoubtedly would have caused me severe problems in the future. \r Secondly, it is my belief that the treatment I received was only due to the fact that I was a Medicaid patient. I have no doubt that Dr. Blechman did this countless times a day and made a bundle of cash in the process. \r more

the staff was incredibly rude, they spoke a foreign language in front of me and my husband, they rushed us when filling out paperwork, and they did nothing for us-only xrays. they had the nerve to tell us there was no time for cleaning and we had to reschedule. I went there for a cleaning. the worst dental office in Staten Island, do not go there!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! more

I usually avoid dentists at all costs but I must say that my experience at Eldridge Dental Care was wonderful! The staff was very polite, willing to assist me at any given moment. The doctors define professionalism and were very gentle and considerate. I definately recommend this office to anyone who is afraid of dentists and/or anyone! more
