This is a nice casino and hotel that is in the heart of downtown. They have all of the table games, plenty of slots and video poker, and if you sign more

Hotel, Casino 2/15/2009

I stayed here last May when Carlos Mencia was performing in town and I had a wonderful experience. The staff was friendly and its located conveniently close to plenty of other Casinos and there are plenty of bars and restaurants within walking distance. more

a fun spot 1/20/2009

The Eldorado is a nice casino. There are a million different slots to play, and the payouts seem reasonable. It connects to the other downtown casinos, and there are a number of late-night restaurants and fine dining available. The rooms are fine, and the rates are pretty cheap. A fun spot to stay! more

Fun, Fun, Fun 6/27/2008

I like their comps are very good. I like the fact that Circus Circus to Silver Legacy to El Dorado Hotels all connected. Many choices of things to do. A lot of things to do choices of three casinos resturants, and bars and you don't even have to go outside. more

Rooms are all right, pool is not worth mentioning. 9/9/2006

I'm going to start this review by saying that this was my first trip to Reno. I went over Labor Day weekend after finding that Las Vegas was pretty much sold out in flights and hotels. I knew Reno is no Vegas, so I lowered my expectations of the town and the hotels. Also, I'm pretty sure all casinos in Reno have poorer ventilation than the newer ones in Vegas that I'm used to, so I'm not going to factor the smokey casino air into the rating. \r With that, the decor inside Eldorado was all right, a typical casino, nothing as fancy or over-the-top as Vegas. I did notice that the lobby area of the Silver Legacy was a little nicer looking, but I can only compare decor since I did not stay at the Silver Legacy. If I do go to Reno again, I might try that hotel. I was put in a smoking room because I checked in at 1 am and all non-smoking was booked. In addition, they had run out of rollaway beds. The inside of the room was plain, the bathroom was a decent size, although the toilet sea more

Great Weekend Getaway! 2/5/2006

My husband and I just had a wonderful two-night getaway to the Eldorado. We enjoyed a great dinner at Lastrada (you must try the mushroom ravilois) and saw their new cirque show. The room rate was excellent for the quality of the hotel and the show tickets were very resonable as well. When we checked-in the front desk gal offered us an upgrade to a suite for 420 more. This is a must! The spa suites are absolutley amazing. The Eldorado may not be the biggest hotel in Reno, but it is certainly the best!! Pros: rooms, service, nightlife Cons: often sold-out more

Best Nightlife in Reno! 1/26/2006

The Eldorado is the best hotel in Reno for entertainment. My husband and I stayed two nights recently and loved the show and Roxy's restaurant. The rooms had just been remodeled too and were wonderful. There is something to be said about staying at a little smaller casino where you get treated just a little bit better. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone traveling to Reno for a fun vacation! Pros: entertainment, atmosphere, rooms Cons: selld-out often more

Eldorado Hotel & Casino 12/20/2005

Room rates fluctuate A LOT. My room was clean and comfortable, though quite basic. Elevators are really fast. The carpet in the hallway was tattered. I liked that the hotel was connected with Silver Legacy and Circus Circus. It was very convenient because you didn't have to go outside in the FREEZING COLD (at night). The staff is courteous and polite. Parking was a little difficult. more

Eldorado 11/17/2005

I thought the room to be kind of plain, and not very luxurious. I thought the rooms nicer here than in other hotels in Reno. The room from our room was really nice. The pillows werent very comfortable. The buffets were very good. The hotel is located in a great location. Overall, the room was small, but clean. more

Cheap 11/6/2005

Rooms here are very cheap, only $80 a night or so. They are pretty clean and relatively comfy as well. This hotel is located in a great location and we loved the buffet here. The casino was pretty good too. The staff here is pretty nice. The beds here are really comfortable. more

Buffet & Bubinga Lounge 6/9/2005

The buffet was good and by far the most reasonably priced, compared to the other casinos. I wouldn't recommend paying extra for the lobster though. It was small and overcooked. If you're into the club scene Bubinga Lounge was a fun place to dance and people watch! The downside: the bartenders were slow and not personable and the drinks are overpriced. The El Dorado is a great casino that has a variety of activities to keep you busy. Pros: Dining, Dancing, Show Cons: Parking fee, Small garage, Two deck blackjack more

Roxys 5/3/2005

Best Resturant for customer service, Waitstaff is best ever. The wine selection is top notch. more

Whenever in Reno 3/22/2004

My luck is money at Eldorado. Others not so good- but I also stay at the hotel each time too which adds to the love. Right on the strip, close the freeway and worth the cash- I recommend it. Pros: Nice Rooms, In the Heart of Reno, Nice Casino more

Needs a Customer Service refresher 12/14/2002

The hotel room we stayed in was fine, but... We had problems checking in (our internet rate was not going to be honored at first), the room (king-size bed) we wanted and reserved was not available, and on check-out our bill was incorrect. We also noticed that when dining in their buffet, the staff started to close up the food area well before the restaurant closed, without even so much as a warning. As far as the ElDorado experience, my first stay was my last! Pros: pretty hotel, lots of slots, central location Cons: bad customer service more
