Good: The first impression was great and all the "promises" sounded, well - promising.. Bad: It took them literally months after moving in to fix simple things they said they would fix, like a broken dishwasher, broken motor in tub jacuzzi, the dryer not drying, a ceiling fan making constant creaking noises, to name a few. After multiple reminders and many excuses for delay, they finally showed up and fixed everything in about an hour. Pretty inconsiderate to make people live with their flaws for that long when it could have been done much sooner. Customer service is not a priority - money, yes.. Improvements: Obviously, actual customer service - beyond the first day impression and verbal promises.. Other: The danger of doing business with Elder Construction is not even the misleading impression they give. When I left, I had the condo professionally cleaned by a 2 person crew that spent 4.5 hours cleaning everything. Instead of returning my deposit, they asked for $197 on top of it to cover their "cleaning". I reminded them of what I had done and that they agreed to return my deposit if it was left clean. Not only did they not return the deposit, they reported the $197 to collections to hurt my credit..
