Elc Veterinary Clinic

We have a dalmatian who has just celebrated her 13th birthday following a series of physical problems which made it most unlikely that she would survive this long. Although that's probably due in part to her determination to survive, we could not have made intelligent decisions about her care without the help of Dr Bhakri, who has always been there to keep her safe and as pain-free as possible. Our dog has a heart condition, a huge tumor, arthritis in all 4 legs and possibly a cancer in one front shoulder. Nevertheless under Dr Bhakri's care she is living a happy and enthusiastic life and is able to pursue her interests, i.e. eating the trash, falling into the pool, stealing food off tables and all those things that elderly dogs are supposed to have retired from years ago. I can say in certainty that Dr Bhakri is responsible for giving her the best quality of life possible and I have no worries about recommending him to anyone. I recently came back to ELC after several years when the previous Vet retired. Dr. Bahkri has recently seen both of my elderly cats and has been caring and concientious about each of their individual needs. His prices are very reasonable and his style is very matter of fact and simple to understand. I have been pleased with his recommendations and treatment plan for each cat. Dr. Bhakhri always shows honest concern and comforts whatever critter I bring to him. He never makes me feel like he is in a rush by hurrying through any questions that I have. It's easy to see that he has a soft spot for animals, which many vets don't have or show. more

dr bhakhri and his staff has been very helpful to me and my dog keisha.i have been going to elc for almost 10 yrs. the last 2 or 3 yrs dr brakhri has taken care of keisha.he is very helpful to her needs. couple months ago she was very sick. he helped her get better. i would tell anyone to take there pets to elc. i hope this helps people . more

We have a little Yorkie who always gets into something, thus, requires frequent visits to our vet. We always feel welcomed there -beginning from the front desk (Anna) to Dr. Hardeep Bhakhri. Everyone is very attentive, willing to listen and answer all our questions. A few months ago our little doggie got really sick and had to spend 3 days in the hospital, including nights. Every morning I called in the hospital to get a follow-up on our little one's health --Anna was always nice and warm giving us an update. Dr. Bhakhri always calls us himself on any updates re: our ittle one. We've already recommended ELC clinic to everyone we know with the pets. We have an English Bulldog and well we're in ELC quite a bit due to his allergies and other stuff he gets into. Anna is a quite welcoming and warm as well as the rest of the staff. Dr. Bhakri is very knowledgable about this breed and quite good with our dog. We know our dog is in good hands when we go to ELC. We would highly recommend this vet facility. more

The Vet that I had used for many years decided about a year and a  \r half ago to sell his practice and retire. I had to make a choice of  \r looking for a new Vet or continuing to go where I had taken my pets over the years.. I decided since all my dog's records were there, I'd  give the new Vet a try, so I took my little Shih Tzu back to ELC Veterinary Clinic( which is located at 832 E. I moved from San Mateo area to Santa clara and happened to find this vet hospital located next to seven eleven.I walked in and make an appointment for general exam.Front desk receptionist was very pleasant. I brought my dog in next week,doctor did a thorough exam and explained all the findings and recommended some dental work up on my 5 year old cockapoo friend.I was kind of scared thinking about the prices but when they presented an actual estimate it was almost half the price I spent last time in san mateo.Very good experience,reasonable prices and highly recommended. more

Dr. and staff at the ELC is very knowledeable and caring.They always have good quality treats for pets and also for their owners.My dog loves coming to this place.I was reffered here by my friend.My puppy has three sets of vaccines here and he still loves to come here because they always greet him with treats and lot of affection.Also they have very affordable puppy and kitten packages.Other reason I love this hospital they have separate entrance for dog and cat owners. more
