Alert...I purchased a Groupon in April 2012 for laser therapy. When I phoned to schedule an appointment, they were booking for SEPEMBER, 2012. Well, now it's September and guess what? I received a voicemail Friday 9/21 cancelling my 9/24 appointment that I had scheduled 5 months ago. The message stated that the facility is closed for the next week due to "new ownership?" The voicemail went on to promise a phone call "as soon as possible." Well, I remain......Waiting.......Once again. Next email is to Groupon.... Buyer Beware! more

Had a consult with Lake Mary Elase for SmartLipo. Their web says that they have a price guarantee for their procedures. Their cost was $8,500 with a $1,000 off special. When I informed them that I had two other price quotes for the same procedures at approx. half their price, I was told (Catherine) that they would not be able to reduce their price. I am surprised to read the previous reviews. I had a completely different experience! I had lipo and a tummy tuck (after four children) and could not be happier with the results, which far exceeded my expectations. Dr. Gonzalez did such a good job that my scar is barely noticeable already, though I am just a few weeks post-op and it will continue to fade. Everyone I encountered, (from the front desk, to the business office, to the doctor and nurses) was pleasant and absolutely professional. An added bonus: the cost of my procedure at Elase was 35% less than the lowest price I had been quoted elsewhere - a savings of thousands of dollars. If I had known I could look and feel this good for such a reasonable cost, I would have done it years ago. more

I agree with the one writer. I believe they are only after money. I booked a package of 4 IPL laser treatments and only received 1. When I attempted to make another appt, the nurse and machine where "unavailable", I was told I would be called when they were back. 3 weeks later and three trips to their office, I finally found out from the receptionist, that they no longer even had the IPL because it was owned by the nurse and the nurse was let go. When I demanded my money back, I was given the run around. The poor receptionist took my calls several times, but she said the owner had to make that decision. The owner (Rachel) never called me back. I finally ran into her on one of my multiple trips to find out what was going on. Only then did she say, I needed to go to where the nurse and machine had gone (to another practice). She was trying to dump me off on the nurse that left. Then she said she would give me "credit". I really just want my money back, but it seems I will be a client until I can use up my credit. The staff is wonderful and they really have tried to make things right. But the owner is stubborn and refuses to give good customer service. She doesn't seem to even know what is going on in her office. What a shame, a good medical spa in this area could have been a nice addition. I really think you should be warned before buying any long term packages from them. more
