El Rio Bravo Restaurant

Fairly new place near me so I decided to check out this restaurant last night with some friends (tomhome in fact) and it was AWESOME! My wife can't stand avocado and I think she ate more guacamole than anyone! It was that good, if you go, try it! My friends all had fajitas which looked amazing and they said they were. We shared a tortilla soup and I had a combo platter with jack cheese enchilada, a beef taco, a chile relleno, and I added a carnitas tamale. Every single item was just as tasty as the last. The Tamale and Chile relleno were especially amazing. For drinks they have an excellent selection of beers and they have a house specialty white wine Margarita. I tasted my wife's and it was every bit as crisp and refreshing as a margarita and she said it even had a good kick to it too. If they can make a margarita that good without tequila I can't wait until they get a full liquor license! The service was friendly and excellent, the food came out quickly and the glasses never emptied. This place may be new but I hope it's around for a long time to come! I just checked this out for the first time last night and it was fantastic! The food was great and the staff was very nice. The environment is very clean, welcoming and comfortable. This place really is one if my new favorite mexican restaurants. Try the fresh guacamole, fajitas, and the wine-margaritas. I love this place! They just recently opened by my house and I am so glad they did. The food is delicious and the staff is genuinely friendly. Everything is homemade including the fresh chips, salsa, and tortillas. The food is very authentic and flavorful, but not dripping in grease. The portions are large and I always have leftovers. They also have a decent selection of beers and wines. And if you like coffee they have an espresso machine and make coffee house quality cappuccinos and lattes. I also really like the d?cor. It is very tasteful, not like those other clique Mexican restaurants adorned with red and yellow stripped walls. This place is super clean and tastefully decorated. If you are a sports fan they also have three large flat screen TV?s and play sports or whatever you want. With reasonable prices and delicious food you can?t go wrong.
