This is a small, unassuming, dumpy little restaurant. In fact it's just a trailer in a parking lot. They have some outdoor seating in the summer months but there is no room for any indoor seating. The ambiance is lacking.
But the food more than makes up for it. It's authentic, inexpensive, and delicious Mexican food. After eating at this place it Taco Bell looks terrible and overpriced. Tacos are about $1.50 and are excellent. I usually eat 2 of them for lunch and am stuffed. Their burritos are huge and are also excellent. The also have tamales and a few other items, but the tacos and burritos are what keep me coming back. They have about 7 different kinds of meat you can order with any dish, or they gladly make anything vegitarian.
Do yourself a a favor and try this place the next time you're in Hood River.
