First of all we started with their "tiraditos" and I have to say that there is not place that makes so delicious dish like them, then I had the "macho" fish... I don't think there are enough words to describe such an amazing plate. I'm definitely coming back I think is the best place to come with friends and have a really pleasant dinner! more

I been in this Peruvian restaurant last week for my husband's birthday, and I simply loved it. The ceviche is totally the best in Miami, we also had a Peruvian sampler and some pisco sours that were delicious. The only thing I can say is that I totally enjoy the night and my husband was very pleasant, the staff there is very friendly, and they provide a great service, especially our waitress Erica. You can tell is a good restaurant because it was full. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PLACE, you will not regret. more

Gran Inka was a great experience. Everyone who worked there seems pleasant and they are happy to work for the company. There menu selection is wide and anyone can choose from this menu. I had something simple, but very delightful and refreshing. I had the lomo saltado.Comes with raice ,tomatoes slice, onions, french fries and ofcourse juice beefsteak chunks just made my day :) I recommend the gran inka and I'll be going back to try other dishes and share them with you. specially Peruvian Ceviche the best ceviche ever plus refreshing cocktails between others... more

Prior to arriving at the restaurant I called to check their hours for dinner and not once was I informed that I would have to make a reservation. When we got there, the hostess asked for one. She said that if we didn't have a reservation she could seat us but that it would be a wait for the food because they are only staffed for the reservations. I see what everyone says about the wait time, but I was willing to deal with it because I was told in advance. I was okay with this, figured it would just be a nice night out and have drinks while waiting patiently, well I was wrong!!! Our drinks did come out first, but there was never a refill or an offer to refill our beverages. When we finally asked for a refill we were told they were out of the drink and offered something else. No problem, I needed something to drink, but even that drink NEVER CAME!!!!! I want to note that the restaurant was not even full and they were well staffed so to wait as long as we did for a non alcoholic drink was absurd. Another thing I disliked was that my dish was almost identical to the appetizer as far as the sauce, seafood and flavor, and since I have never eaten there before I would have expected the waiter to let me know so that I may try a different selection, but clearly he didn't care and never introduced himself or came to even check if our main courses were alright. The other dish we had ordered was half over-cooked. I understand this may happen while it sat there in a warm plate while it waited for my dish to be ready but how does only half of the dish come overcooked? I also used a LivingSocial voucher for the dinner, but what they fail to tell you is that when they charge your credit card, they already include the tip. Nowhere on the menu does it say that tip is included, and when I told the waiter about the voucher before we ordered, he never mentioned it either. So I guess he thought with poor service he would still get his guaranteed tip. I don't use LivingSocial to be cheap; rather, I use it to try new things in a difficult economy. Had he actually brought my drink or refilled it, then I would have left the waiter a 20-25% tip of the total bill, BEFORE the discount. To make matters worse, when I received the check to sign, the original bill was not included nor was I informed that tip was already added so it looked like I had to add the tip. This didn't look right so I did ask for my original bill (they failed to give me this when they brought the cc slip) and the waiter THEN told me about the added gratuity. Way to scam people for awful service!!!! My advice is that this place is overrated and I will certainly not be a patron in the future. more

Before I go on...I want to say that this is not at all the Bride and Groom's fault. They were gracious and we love them both very much. The overall experience of the evening was secondary to us. We were happy to be with them.\r \r To be fair to the restaurant, the food is very good and it is a nice restaurant. But the service really sucks and management is lacking.\r \r This was a pre-wedding dinner with the bride and groom's family planned months in advance. However, they didn't bother to close the rest of the restaurant and continued serving walk-in guest on time. Here is the timeline...\r \r 7:00PM - We arrived\r 8:00PM - They took our order (understandable as guests did trickle in)\r 9:45PM - Our appetisers arrived. As you can imagine we were furious.\r 10:00PM - The kids are finally served their chicken fingers and fries... Two hours to make chicken fingers and fries!...WTF?\r 10:30PM - Our dinner arrives... It took them 2 and a half hours!\r 11:00PM - Dessert is served...\r 11:45PM - We finally get the bill and are able to get out of there.\r \r Okay... I understand that this is a high end restaurant, but $6.95 for a Corona and $10.50 for a glass of Merlot? You gotta be kidding me... Plus this is great for the restaurant when it takes 2 hours to serve them. They made a killing!\r \r All the while we would ask how long it is going to take to get the guest fed...they gave us the standard response: "it is comming out now, in a few minutes...". The restaurant manager would strut around the restaurant (having a great sales night chatting with the walk-in guests that would arrive) but never once came to our side of the restaurant to see how our exprience is going.\r \r Bottom line is, DON'T PLAN A LARGE PARTY HERE. They just don't know how to handle them. What ticked me off the most is that they had kids under ten years old wating 2 hours for something to eat... I wonder if they would do that to their own families...\r \r Gran Inka...Big Caca! more

I'd never had lomo huancaina before, but this dish was very good. I tend to prefer clear sauces to creamy ones, so I will probably order something without cheese (usually cream, or a mix of parmesan and feta - I am not sure what El Gran Inka uses) next time, but the dish was very well prepared and had fantastic flavor. more

The lomito saltado, offers a generous portion of amazingly tender, very flavorful beef served with fresh red peppers and onions. The kind folks at Gran Inka offered great service, fantastic suggestions and a free pisco sour as to celebrate my first time visiting their restaurant. more
