This was our first visit to El Acapulco, and since we are both a little hesitant to try new Mexican restaurants, we went in with our antennas raised. No disappointments here, however!\r

The salsa was tasty and not too chunky or too spicy, and the chips weren't overcooked. The menu was easy to read, with plenty of standard and original selections. Festive decor and atmosphere.\r

Our food arrived quickly, as it does with most Mexican restaurants, and everything tasted terrific. I had a crunchy beef taco and chicken enchilada. Both were yummy, and the meat was of good quality. My husband had the chicken fajitas, which he enjoyed. He commented that the rice was especially flavorful. I had flan for dessert, which was excellent in texture and flavor.\r
