Dr. Wade is amazing. My previous vet charged me for multiple things that my dog did not even need. I heard about Eighth Street Animal Hospital through a friend of mine. From the initial meeting, I knew that Dr. Wade would do a great job with my pets. He is very thorough and does whatever he needs to ensure your pets health. I have never been more satisfied with a doctor and I can not say enough about Eighth Street Animal Hospital. more

I have been bringing my pets to the Eighth Street Animal Hospital for many, many years. The staff is unbelievably gracious, compassionate, and knowledgeable. In my opinion, the quality of service that we receive is unmatched. I see nothing that they could do to improve their practice. I take all of my pets to Eighth Street Animal Hospital and love knowing that they are getting exceptional care. I was shocked at how they make my dog feel like one of their own and make sure to be patient when he gets a little restless. Thank you!- T.S.N.- more

6 years of great care to my animals 10/20/2011

For 6 years I have been taking my dog to Eighth Street Animal Hospital. I have not had any problems with them at all. In fact, I love taking my animals there because I know they will get high quality care from the veterinarian.- Mary Beth more

Will never return 11/4/2008

I will never again return to eighth street animal hospital. I took my cat in to be checked out with the suspicion of having a hip/pelvis problem. They did x-rays and confirmed that it was broke and then sent us home with instruction to keep him confined for 6 weeks and he should heal on his own. Three days later I was trying to get in with an emergency vet and found that the cat should have had surgery then to plate the pelvis and was told there was no possible way the cat would ever heal on his own. I lost my poor kitty due to their negligence and lack of care. more

Okay rating 11/4/2008

I went to this vet for a second opinion. He was very nice and so was his staff. I waited for about 3 hours. He did tell me that the dog I took in needed a surgery that would cost $2000 and then additional surgeries after that. After taking him to a specialist/surgeon I found out that no surgery would fix this dog and he had to be put to sleep. more

Great clinic 11/4/2008

After trying many other clinics in town, this is the only one I'll go to. Extremely friendly staff, you can tell they love animals. The wait can be a bit long, but if you go during their slow hours, like first thing in the morning, you can get right in. more

Eighth Street Animal Hospital 3/20/2008

This is the best veterinarian clinic/hospital I have ever been to. I love this place! All the people that work there are great. The receptionist is Wonderful! The doctor is kind and sympathetic, knowledgeable. All the vet assistants are good with your pets, they all seem to love the animals, which is important to pet owners. more
