My whole family frequently goes to Ego Hour on Stratford Road. Someone recommended this salon to us as I was a new resident in town and was spoiled by going to juut salon. The girl with the bubbly personality and great smile was amazing at choosing the right one for my hard to manage natural curly hair. Afterwards I was told that she was the main manager who basically creates such an awesome salon atmosphere. My hairdresser was on time, greeted me with a warm and welcoming hand shake. The shampoo massage was exactly what I secretly desired to get more than anything! After giving me coffee, a very stylish magazine, my hairdresser went into another world! My haircut and color was been noticed my complete strangers while I'm working out, at school functions, patients and what I like the best...I use the products that she suggest and go! I called to get my hair cut, and someone answered the phone that I could barely understand. They put me on hold and totally forgot about me! Needless to say, I didn't make an appointment! Disappointing, because a regular, happy client referred me to them. So, I am going somewhere else. more

My wife and I have been seeing Chelsea for the past 8 months and continue to enjoy the service and our excellent haircuts. Recently I was checking out at the same time another guy was who became a little curious why my haircut was $5 cheaper which was also a surprise to me. So check the rates between stylists but other than that I have nothing but great things to say about Ego hour. Highly recommend it. more

I was given a referral by one of my friends and I will never go to another hair dresser! I absolutely love Ashley and what she does with my hair, and trust her judgment to do whatever! I've been to Ego Hour many time. Actually my mom, my sister and I all go or have gone to there. I've never gotten a bad hair cut and i've never seen them not be able to give you what you want. Whether its cut, color or style, etc. And I have curly thick hair, no one can get it right. But they can! more

I visited Ego Hour on Stratford Rd., 4 weeks ago today (6.5.08) and was very pleased with the service I received! I saw the salon in passing, and had been looking for a new stylist since I was totally unhappy with the last 2 visits I had at 2 different salons. I had a picture of what I wanted, and being a black female I was concerned that no one in the establishment would be able to work on my hair since most of the stylists in the establishment were white. That was not a problem!!! I got the cut I wanted, and set up another appointment to keep it maintained, every 4 weeks (I have an appt today!). They even call you a day ahead as a reminder! I think I've found my new salon! more

Great salon. I have been in here before with a friend, and seen some of the ladies in action. Great work ladies! Very modern, clean and interesting interior. Excellent salon. I will definitely be trying it for my next cut and cannot wait! I would prefer salons that have the latest styles and training available, and this place seems to have it. more
