This place is disgusting. Our waitress was so rude. She literally tossed my plate of food at me, threw the check in our general direction, and seemed openly disgusted when I ordered a second glass of water. On top of this, the food was vile. It all tasted exactly the same: like really old grease. Never again. more

This place was terrible. I arrived 30 minutes before closing and my waitress did everything she could to hurry me out from the moment I sat down. She literally stood over me tapping her foot waiting for me to place my order and threw my check onto the table before I was even finished with my meal. She then told me they were closing and that I would need to hurry up because they wanted to leave. Ridiculous service!!! This place is an absolute joke. On top of all of this my food was disgusting and overpriced. I had an omelet that looked like it fell off a 10-story building. I would not let my dog eat at this restaurant. more

My partner and i eat there weekly and recommend the chili omelet, blintzes and hash browns well done. The chili is mild but a perfect match for the breakfast hour. The English muffins are a must - order them with butter. Park near the water or near BBB where there are no parking meters. more

The restaurant does have an old diner feel to it, but I cannot recommend the cuisine.\r My friend and I both had ham and cheese omelets that were overcooked (just short of burned), tough, and were made with lunchmeat ham and cheddar cheese that was clearly not for use with cooking an omelet. Both omelets were cooked the same way, and the place wasn't overly busy.\r Pancakes tasted as if they were made with a stale box mixture.\r Atmosphere was decent, but rating this as poor, based on the food we received. more

I had breakfast here with my husband, on our last day in Fort Lauderdale, and it was a nice cap to our trip. The vibe of this diner is completely old school in the best sense of the word. The decor is unpretentious, reminiscent of the booths you see in old movies. The wait staff calls you "honey" and never lets your coffee cup get half empty. The prices are reasonable, and the portions are humongous. I've never seen blueberry pancakes so big and chokefull of fresh blueberries. This is definitely a Ft. Lauderdale staple not to miss. more

I'm from the Midwest and know a great breakfast when I eat one, and this place has just that. Killer biscuts and gravy, poached eggs on an English muffin, and properly cooked hash browns. Go eat here... Park in the very back, it's free. more

Breakfast to remember for a lifetime! 8/12/2002

Having grown up in Ft. Lauderdale in the 70's and 80's, I was a regular Saturday breakfast eater here with my father. After moving away and coming back over 20 years later for my high school class reunion, I took my husband and son there for breakfast. This place still serves the BEST breakfast ever!!! We travel and eat out a lot, and have been back here for breakfast on three return trips to Ft. Lauderdale since my reunion. The breakfast is always consistent quality, great selection, and excellent friendly service! Don't miss this hidden little restaurant for a great breakfast!!! Pros: Inexpensive, Family oriented, Friendly more
