Edwards Subaru was the dealership we went with when purchasing our 2014 Subaru Forester Premium 2.5i CVT, AWP. \r \r Dan Baney was our dealer throughout the entire process. Dan was very great to work with. We exchanged many emails back and forth working out the details of our deal. He made every effort to responded to all of my requests in a timely manner with the answers we were looking for. \r \r I reached out to every Subaru dealership in the state of Iowa as well as a few dealerships throughout the Midwest to get a feel for the price range we were looking at. Edwards Subaru were the only dealership that would neogiate with us throughout the entire process. The other dealerships would just feed me the typical lines like ""We have to keep our lights on"", ""We can't do this, We can't do that"", ""This is the hottest selling car right now we just can't budge on price"" Edwards was the only dealership willing to deal. \r \r We also brought a trade in and we were able to neogiate a fair price for both parties. They were very helpful in the trade in process. \r \r With so much information readily available on the internet for the car buyer Edwards Subaru takes the traditional ""BS waste of time"" process out of the the car buying experience. \r \r If you are in the market for a new Subaru call Dan Baney at Edwards Subaru you will not be disappointed. \r \r We were willing to drive 3 1/2 hours to purchase from Edwards and I would recommend them to anyone looking for a new Subaru. \r \r Iowa City, Iowa more

I totaled my 2010 Scion a couple of weeks ago so I needed to find a car fast. I had looked at the Veloster before and had made a decision that it was going to be my next car. I looked around the Des Moines area and could not find the exact car that I wanted to buy. So I checked several other dealerships in Iowa and Edwards had the perfect car for me. I bought the car over the internet and phone with Todd Robert who was excellent to work with and got me into the car as soon as possible. Thanks to Todd and Edwards for the wonderful service and great price. more

I decided to lease again with Edwards, and the current deal was that my first three payments would be waived known as the ""pull ahead bonus."" I signed paperwork for the three specific months to be paid, however, about six weeks later I received daily phone calls from the Hyundai Finance organization that I was not making payments. \r \r \r After several phone calls with the Hyundai Finance Department which took hours they concluded that my paperwork was ""inaccurate."" The Edwards dealership should not have given me the offer of waived payments because the car I leased an Elantra, was not part of the ""pull ahead bonus deal."" I needed to have instead leased a Sonota or Genesis to be offered the pull ahead deal. Hyundai Finance stated to me that it was the dealership's responsibility to make the payments as they offered me a deal that was inaccurate. \r \r When I began to discuss the dispute with my sales representative that the Hyundai Finance organization told me paperwork was filed inaccurately he replied in a text, ""Sorry we are working on it...There are also others who didn't get there payments."" The sales rep then went on later to back track and say that I didn't qualify because I didn't release with them on the day my old lease was up so I wasn't ""guaranteed"" the deal. I released two days later than I should have. I told the sales person that was not accurate because the Hyundai Finance organization said my Elantra would have never qualified for the deal even if I released the day my old lease was discontinued (again the sales person replied that he had other Elantra leases sold with the deal and it went through so the Finance department is wrong). The dealership than claimed it was Hyundai Finance's problem because they weren't clear or consistent on their deals and thatHyundai Finance should be the one honoring the deal.\r \r During these text messages I am also calling the Edward's Dealership to speak with Sales Managers each time they said they were on top of my issue and would get back to me. NEVER did they return my calls. My salesperson also said I wasn't allowed to have the dealership's representatives phone number. \r \r During this time Hyundai Finance stated I must pay the payments or it will be reported on my credit score. more

The employees at Edwards Mitsubishi are very pleasant to deal with and did not high-pressure us. They answered all of our questions and provided excellent service. I love my Outlander Sport and highly recommend Edwards Mitsubishi. more

Within a few hours of making Email contact I had several responses to my questions. This attitude continued during my visit to the dealership. I received a fair price for my trade-in and I felt received a fair price for my new vehicle. Every aspect of my purchase was explained to my satisfaction and although the dealer is 130 miles from my home I plan to do my servicing with them. Rick Ham was great explaining all the features of my new car during the test drive. more

Awesome Salesman, Ryan,Smooth Transaction 5/10/2012

My husband actually started a conversation with a salesman on-line. I was not looking forward to the sales haggling and numerous phone calls that I know are involved in a vehicle purchase. But what I didn't expect was an easy and quick phone conversation with Ryan. He was honest with all of my questions. And I was ready to drive to Council Bluffs to look at the car I wanted even though I was told that my particular car in mind was not there I could still see what it will look like and drive like. Ryan was just as nice in person as he was on the phone. And he knew exactly what I wanted. They went all the way to Kansas to get my car. And yes it was exactly what I had invisioned it would look like and more. I was overjoyed with tears. The color is beautiful. It drives like a dream. Ryan when I come back I'm asking for you. Thank-You. more

I just bought my new Outback from Rick Ham. I've been searching for the last 6 weeks and finally landed on the Outback. Rick was able to find the exact color and options I wanted. I was told by other dealers just to order it, but Rick had the car delivered in my driveway by the end of the week. Highly recommended. Thanks Rick. more

My New Santa Fe 8/17/2010

I just purchased my second Hyundai from Edwards. The sales and service departments are excellent and their employees have always worked hard to make sure I am completely satisfied with my purchase. For that, and my beautiful new Santa Fe, I am so grateful. more

Omaha Hyundai Elantra 6/30/2010

I live in Omaha and talked to the internet dept about a New Hyundai Elantra. I used TrueCar.com to find the pricing I should pay. I ended up getting it for dealer cost. My advice is to just ask for what you want with the internet as proof. They don't have much to hide then! more

Great job! 5/8/2010

I must say I was surprised. usually car shopping ranks up there with getting a root canal. This time I did all my research online to find a car online. I finally settled with a Mini Cooper. After doing price and mileage comparisons, I figured out what a fair price as. After I found the color I wanted, i emailed the internet dept with an offer that was $500 below their "special" price. About 30 min later, I got phone call saying they would take my offer, but I told them I needed to drive it first. I showed up, drove the vehicle, and was signing papers 30 min later. i must say that was easier than expected. I love this mini cooper and can't help but pat myself on the back for getting a good price. more

Good price 5/8/2010

I am finishing my senior year and my dad promised me that he would be getting me a car as a graduation present for college. But he gave me a monthly budget for my payments. After doing tons of searching online, I decided that I want to go with a new hyundai because it seemed like they have everything I want (i'm a big tech guy). After contacting a few dealership about my payment restriction, I talked to Todd. He called me within a few minutes of me asking a question (weird), and said if i went new or used i could probably still keep my budget. I took my dad in with me (who really doesn't like car salesmen) since he's buying the car. We decided to go with a new 2010 Sonata and I know the price they gave me was about $1000 less than any other dealership that I emailed. Nobody was pushy and I am now driving my new car! It is way sweet and cheap for me to fill up the tank. I love it! Pros: Price more
