We purchased parts from here, they were defective, we were told to ship them back at our expense and they would refund our money. Two months later Im still getting the run around,...

Huge Selection 12/19/2011

Huge selection of lawn mowers (motor powered or people powered) and decent prices. They also have a ton of other lawn related power tools: weed eaters, hedge trimmers and chainsaws, as well as a few other people powered tools like loppers and sprayers. They also rent equipment and do repairs! more

Excellent Service and Extensive Knowledge 11/23/2011

Excellent service! Ed's carries some of the best lawn equipment you can buy, and their staff is extremely knowledgeable about the equipment they sell, and even the equipment they don't sell. Make sure to ask questions, they're extremely friendly and helpful. It's almost as though they want you to look around in a hassle free environment, rather than push a ""used car salesman"" approach on every customer. My philosophy is to support these local businesses, because if we don't, they won't be there when our equipment breaks in the future. Don't buy the big box lousy equipment- support local business and places like Ed's will be there for you in the future. more

RIP OFF ALERT 9/9/2010

I dropped a chain saw off because it would run but would die when I tried to cut with it. Got a call from the service department and was told it needed a new fuel hose, new spark plug, new air filter, new blade brake, carb job, and that the lack of gas due to the hole in the fuel hose caused a scored cylinder. i had the saw serviced two running hours before and it needed a new plug, air filter, etc??? They told me I needed over $300 in parts for a $300 saw. I told them to order the fuel hose and I would come by and pick it up. I got there and they walked out with my saw in a million pieces in a plastic bag and charged me $40 for it. I replaced the fuel hose and the saw ran great. I have 16 hours on the saw and it runs like it is angry. Fuel hose cost...$4.50. RIP OFF ALERT. more

Quality Lawn Equipment store 6/15/2009

There probably aren't many places around that offer the amount of selection and advice as Eds. However the staff wasn't the most friendly I've encountered but they do know their lawn equipment. I'd definitely consider buying my next mower from them in the future. It's also good to know I can have my current equipment serviced there if need be. more
